Kim Kardashian is reportedly filming a new show for Hulu. It’s been three months since her family’s iconic reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians came to an end, but it appears that Kim isn’t saying goodbye to the world of television just yet.

On Thursday, Kim shared a photo of herself with a microphone pack to her Instagram Story, which is typically used to record audio for shows or movies. She captioned the photo, 'Day 1', leading many of her followers to speculate she had started working on a new project.

PEOPLE Magazine notes that the photo was reminiscent of the sorts of photos Kim and her family would post after wrapping up a new season of KUWTK, including when they finished filming the twentieth and final season of the E! show this past June.

Details of Kim’s new project are currently unavailable. But it’s widely speculated that she was referring to her family’s new show with Hulu. Last December, the Kardashian-Jenner family revealed they signed a multi-year partnership with the streaming giant.

“Excited to announce our new multi-year partnership with Hulu and Star and what’s to come in 2021,” Kris Jenner tweeted at the time.

It’s unclear what was stipulated in the deal, other than the famous family has agreed to “create global content” exclusively for Hulu. Kris later revealed that this would include a new show, which may debut as early as this year.

“In the new show, you’ll see us evolving as a family,” Kris said during Disney Upfronts in May, Hollywood Life reports. She said that fans would be able to see their family “continue their journey,” with some believing this was a hint that it’ll be a reality show-type format.

It’s also unknown how much the family is making from their partnership with Hulu, or more specifically, the new series. However, it’ll easily be in the millions based on how much they made with KUWTK.

According to Cheat Sheet, the Kardashian-Jenner family was making around $930,000 per episode in the final seasons of KUWTK. This was after they signed a deal with E! in 2017 to renew the show for an additional five years. Though the exact dollar amount of the deal wasn’t revealed at the time, sources claimed it was anywhere up to $150 million.

The Kardashian-Jenners certainly aren’t limited themselves to television, though. They have various other projects in the works, including Kylie’s new swimwear line and Kim’s rebranding of KKW Cosmetics.
