Divorce is always a difficult stage of life to process, and it can be incredibly tough on families with young children. Adding the celebrity element makes the stakes higher, harder, and much more magnified, as there are a lot more dollars involved in the transition. When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announced that their marriage was officially over, the focus immediately shifted to the children, and how their lives would be affected. According to Kim Kardashian, one of the major elements to their future stability lies in her ability to hang on to their $60 million Hidden Hills mansion.

Daily Mail reported on the fact that Kim Kardashian is going to remain as the owner of this massive estate, in spite of the fact that Kanye West spent years, and nearly $20 million in renovations on this property.

Divorces are certainly not rare, and are especially common among the rich and famous. This Hollywood divorce is taking the spotlight partially due to the high profile couple involved, and partially due to the fact that Kim Kardashian and Kayne West have a combined net worth of $4.2 billion.

It goes without saying that there will be lots of property, tons of investments, and a slew of belongings to divide between the feuding pair, but the $60 million mansion is certainly one of the items with the biggest price tags, and Kim Kardashian has her clutches dug deep into it. She's adamant that she needs to keep this particular property in order to provide "much needed stability" for her children.

Upon closer examination of the features found in this incredible estate, it appears to be designed for a very adult lifestyle. The rolling grounds and epic view of the Hollywood Hills is perfect for entertaining guests, and there's plenty of room to do just that.

The home is designed to reflect a very contemporary, minimalist decorative theme, with much of the house designed in a very muted cream and white color palette. Anyone who has children knows how completely unsustainable that color scheme is with little ones!

The home was elaborately designed by Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt, and boasts unique, customized features such as floating stone coffee tables, and a circular breakfast nook that is so huge, the entire family can spread out to enjoy a feast with plenty of space left over. The kitchen also has a massive walk-in fridge, providing the family with an endless stock of goodies that is far too big for a regular refrigeration unit.

In the spirit of keeping things "very Kardashian", this mansion even has a spare foyer. It's crafted as an empty space, and is there when required... although it's unclear to anyone what a spare foyer would ever be used for.

Among the other unique features found in this stunning home, are a staff kitchen as well as a "show kitchen" and a state of the art security system that People has compared to "Pentagon-level security."
