Kim Kardashian is known for loving expensive jewelry, but she wasn’t impressed after a fan sent her a diamond ring.

According to TMZ, the reality star has been granted a restraining order against Jomonie Victor Zigler, after he tried making contact with her on several occasions.

Jomonie reportedly first attempted to approach Kim in December by showing up at her house, though he was stopped by security. He also turned to social media, where he made a series of explicit posts about the reality star, even referring to her as his “wife.”

Moreover, Jomonie tried to send a series of gifts to Kim, including a diamond ring as well as keys to his hotel room.

These incidents led to a judge agreeing to sign off on a temporary restraining order. Jomonie is scheduled to appear in court next month, where the future of the restraining order will be determined.

Jomonie reportedly has a criminal history involving firearms and threats, which factored into the judge’s decision.

This isn’t the first time Kim has been granted a restraining order against a stalker. In 2021, she faced a similar incident when Charles Peter Zelenoff tried to approach her, even attempting to give her a diamond ring, like Jomonie. After Charles allegedly stalked her for months, Kim was granted a permanent restraining order.

Kim may have turned down Jomonie’s diamond ring, but she recently added a new piece to her jewelry collection – a cross pendant that was formerly worn by Princess Diana.

The SKIMS founder picked up the unique piece at an auction held by Sotheby’s for a cool $197,000. It features 5.25 carats of circular-cut diamonds.

Princess Diana wore the necklace on multiple occasions in the ‘80s, including Birthright’s 1987 London charity gala. However, she didn’t own the piece. It was lent to her by a friend, Naim Attallah CBE, formerly the chief executive of Asprey & Garrard.

Kim’s recent purchase made international headlines, but not always for the right reasons. She’s faced criticism on social media over the sheer price of the pendant.

A series of memes referred to as “Kim Kardashian has purchased” or “Kim Kardashian buys” began circulating on Twitter, joking about a variety of nonsensical things the reality star would spend big money on.

For instance, one of the fictitious memes said shed spent $500,000 on Martin Scorsese’s iconic eyebrows.

But with 5 carats of diamonds around her neck, we doubt Kim is listening too loudly to the online haters.
