Khloe Kardashian seemingly made a huge statement this week when she decided to take off the diamond ring that Tristan Thompson gave to her last year. According to Daily Mail, Kardashian was affected by the recent rumors that Thompson cheated on her again. So, for the first time in a year, she decided to stop wearing the jewelry that her baby daddy gifted her with.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star uploaded a video on Instagram Stories last week sans her teardrop diamond rock. While it is possible that Kardashian just didn’t wear the ring that time, some publications couldn’t help but speculate that it had to do with Thompson’s cheating scandal.
After all, the gesture took place shortly after model Sydney Chase claimed that she hooked up with Thompson in January.
Chase claimed that Thompson told her that he’s single that’s why she decided to sleep with him. Shortly after, the two saw each other again after True Thompson’s third birthday party in Los Angeles.
The model also shared DMs from the basketball star where Thompson said that Chase is his type and not Kardashian.

This isn’t the first time that Thompson cheated on his baby mama. In fact, Kardashian and Thompson had a very public split shortly after their daughter was born because the latter hooked up with Kylie Jenner’s former best friend.
Reports also revealed that Thompson cheated on Kardashian again shortly after. So, it took the reality TV star over a year to forgive him.
In March, Kris Jenner’s third child confirmed that she and Thompson are officially back together. So, the recent cheating scandal must be heartbreaking for her.
With this, Kardashian has all the right to stop wearing her million-dollar ring from Thompson.
According to BBC, it’s a valid decision to get rid of rings given by men immediately after reports of infidelity make headlines. And even if cheating isn’t the cause of a couple’s split, getting rid of a ring symbolizes the end of a relationship. And since rings are a sign of commitment, not wearing them may suggest the end of a couple’s union.
