Katy Perry just sold her Beverly Hills mansion for $7.475 million. The 4,410 square-foot property was on the market since October before Perry found a buyer.
According to ET Canada, the American Idol judge took a huge hit on the property because she purchased it in 2018 for $7.45 million. But over the years, Perry has made some improvements to the house, which she reportedly used as her guest house in Los Angeles.
Perry’s former home boasts of four bedrooms and 4.5 baths. It also has a yoga and music room, and an outdoor swimming pool. The property also has a fireplace, a formal dining room, a family room with built-in shelving, and a bar. There are two wings and the first one leads to the primary bedroom suite with a massive walk-in closet. And the second wing leads to an additional bedroom suite, the office, and the gym.
This isn’t the first time that Perry sold a property. In 2019, she managed to sell two multi-million dollar homes to Michael Chow for a total of $12.7 million.
Meanwhile, the “Roar” singer also owns several other properties. In 2017, she bought another house in the same area for $18 million. And following the birth of her daughter, Perry and Orlando Bloom bought another property in Montecito where they currently live.
Last year, Perry shared a glimpse of her over $14.2 million Beverly Hills mansion during an episode of American Idol. Since last season was filmed at the comfort of the judges and the contestants’ home, Perry showed off certain parts of her house to her fans.
At one point, the singer donned an American Idol hand sanitizer while sitting in front of her spacious kitchen that also has floor-to-ceiling wooden cabinets lining one side of her walls.
Perry also shared a glimpse of the living room she shares with Bloom and their daughter. It boasts of darker colors. Their huge television is mounted above a fireplace, and there are also integrated shelving and cabinets on either side.
Bloom and Perry’s current house also has a swimming pool and stunning scenery to boast. The British actor also has his own office inside the property, and he showed off his work area during an awards show.
The room features a wooden shelving unit filled with books and a display cabinet.
Perry and Bloom also have an extensive garage space that houses their cars and the latter’s motorbike.
