The Kardashians are well-known across the globe and thanks to Kris Jenner, they are not only famous, they have actually become a brand. There has been an incredible amount of work that has gone in to cultivating the careers of each and every family member, and momager and matriarch Kris Jenner is responsible for it all. She has managed to grow her family's success into a massive empire that is unlike any other familial success story that Hollywood has ever seen. It didn't come easy, but after a series of brilliant business moves, Kris Jenner has been seen as the mastermind behind the success of each of her children, and in the process, she has secured her own financial fortune as well.

Forbes reports on her journey from her humble beginnings as a flight attendant, to becoming a business leader that has created expansive wealth for her family. Here's how Kris Jenner made an absolute fortune for herself, and for all of her children...

Managing Bruce Jenner

Prior to her divorce, Kris Jenner was married to prominent lawyer Robert Kardashian. She was accustomed to living a very lavish lifestyle, and had to make some adjustments when they divorced in order to make ends meet while caring for her children. Very shortly after the divorce, she went on to marry Bruce Jenner, who was an Olympic Athlete at the time, but she craved the lifestyle she used to have. Bruce is now known by the name Caitlin Jenner.

Jenner became resourceful, and tapped in to the celebrity-studded network that had been afforded to her through her first marriage. She began to find ways to profit from Jenner's success in sports, and began sending out press kits and seeking opportunities for him to promote and endorse a variety of products. Coca Cola and Visa were among the first, and in no time at all, Jenner began to speak publicly as a track and field expert. Kris continued to negotiate endorsement deals for Bruce Jenner, and later went on to promote his race car skills.

Entering Reality TV With Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Kris Jenner had television producer Deena Katz over for a visit one day, when Deena realized she was observing a very unique household, and gave Kris the idea that she should have her own reality TV show. This sparked immediate interest, and Jenner made an appointment to speak to Ryan Seacrest. He decided to take a chance on the show, finding the perspective to be unique, and the drama to be prevalent.

Instantly realizing that fans would want to get to know this family, Seacrest worked hard to ensure that Keeping Up with the Kardashians came to fruition, and he urged each of Kris' children to create social media channels and begin engaging with fans. They now earn hundreds of thousands of dollars each time they promote or endorse a produce on social media. The show took off, fans were entertained with online banter, and Kris Jenner was immediately named as executive producers when E! Network.

Kris Jenner now earns over $100,000 per episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and the show has entered its final season.

Jenner was also responsible for creating opportunities for her children by launching spin offs of the show, such as; Life of Kylie, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Khloe and Lamar, and Rob and Chyna.

Managing All Deals And Endorsements

As the momager, Kris Jenner definitely gets paid well. In addition to her hefty income per episode, she pays herself 10% of every dollar that her children earn from their modeling careers and beauty companies.

She's responsible for all their business deals and continues to actively negotiate their endorsement contracts and financial obligations.

Kris uses her huge network to score high profile opportunities for her children and drives a hard bargain with brands who will now pay virtually anything to be promoted and endorsed by a member of the Kardashian clan.

Each deal they pen profits her children, and pads her account as well. Never stepping down from her position as momager, Kris continues to reap the benefits of the successful ventures she creates for each of her children.

Starting Companies

Kris Jenner has started a series of companies, both for herself, and for her children. She has helped Kylie and Kim launch their cosmetics and beauty lines, and has even bought a stake of Kylie's beauty line.

She launched her own talk show in 2013, during which time she invited Kanye West to attend, and carefully used this opportunity as the forum in which he would introduce the world to never-before-seen images of North West.

In 2017 Kris Jenner founded a cosmetics company called KKW for Kim Kardashian. Just 3 years later, cosmetics giant Coty coughed up $200 million for a stake in the company, thanks to Jenner's savvy business sense, of course.

The same pattern was put in place for Kylie Cosmetics, which sold a 51% stake to Coty for a whopping $600 million.

Jenner has released her own cookbook and autobiography, and shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. In fact, she just announced her collaboration with Chrissy Teigen as they team up to sell safe cleaning detergents for the kitchen that are made of natural, non-toxic ingredients.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians may be drawing to a close, but Kris Jenner, and all of the siblings in the Kardashian-Jenner clan are sure to continue to generate millions of dollars, thanks to the dedicated, hard work of their momager, Kris Jenner.
