As the feud between Kanye West and Drake continues to heat up, the situation has become further ignited by the fact that both artists have released highly anticipated albums within the same week. Fans have been tuning in to both albums, and the media has kept a close eye on the performance of each to determine who comes out on top. Current streaming records indicate that Kanye West's newly released Donda album has taken the lead, generating more streams, more album sales, and far more interest than Drake's Certified Lover Boy. Meaww reports that both music moguls have generated a whole lot of hype in advance of their album drops, but fans agree that West's album has more 'longevity,' and they're playing it on repeat already.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of both Donda and Certified Lover Boy for many months, and perhaps not so ironically, both albums have seen delays in their release.

Drake and Kanye West both devoted a lot of time teasing their albums on social media, and fans were buzzing with excitement about them both.

Kanye West seemed to know he was on to something really special and proceeded to execute not one, not two, but three listening parties in advance of the release of Donda, generating huge profits in the process.

When the album was released, Meaww indicated that; Donda "debuted at #1 on the US albums chart with 327K sold the first week. It earns the biggest debut of the year."

Drake may have 'started at the bottom," but he has come a long way to sit at the top of his throne in the rap game. There was a twist to the story when Drake's Certified Lover Boy streamed more successfully on day one of its release than Donda did. However, he saw a huge drop in streaming sales on day two, which is the actual day that indicates how the music has resonated with fans.

Day two for Donda showed many fans continuing to express interest in the album and proved that thousands of people streamed it on the first day and liked it so much that they came back for more after 24 hours.

The Street reports that; "Donda became the second-largest album debut ever on Spotify Get Spotify Technology SA Report with around 100 million streams since its release.

It can't be denied that Drake has seen huge success with the release of Certified Lover Boy, and this album is poised to generate millions for the star. However, Kanye West's success story with Donda far surpasses the income he can generate with album sales alone, especially considering the huge success West saw with the three massive Donda listening parties.
