Kanye West was recently spotted wearing his wedding band even though he and Kim Kardashian are in the process of finalizing their divorce.
On his Instagram account, DJ Khaled shared a photo of West with his hand high up in the air. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband is still wearing his wedding band.
But during his interview with Entertainment Tonight, Khaled revealed that the photo that he uploaded was taken a long time ago. This means that West must have visited his fellow musician before he and Kardashian decided that they will get a divorce.
“First of all, God bless him and his family, remember this was a while ago, and when I say a while ago, like, when I was first starting to create my album. I was just playing him song ideas I had so this was long — not too long ago — this was, like, way before, you know, all that and I want to send my love to him and his family and his kids, you know what I mean? God bless him and his whole family, you know?” Khaled said.
In March, West also made headlines after he was spotted with a huge gold ring two weeks after his and Kardashian’s divorce was announced. Since then, it’s unclear if the rapper continues to wear his wedding ring.
Meanwhile, other fans also noticed that Kardashian stopped wearing her engagement ring in December. Back then, there were speculations that she and West would get a divorce. However, it was only recently that the power couple made the announcement.
And speaking of rings, Kardashian and West exchanged wedding rings when they tied the knot in 2014. While the actual price of their wedding rings remains unknown, it’s highly likely that the rapper spent millions on it.
In fact, West previously surprised Kardashian with an $8 million engagement ring. The 15-carat cushion-cut diamond also served as Yeezy’s birthday gift for the reality TV star.
Three years later, West upgraded the engagement ring to feature a 20-carat emerald-cut design. However, the expensive piece of jewelry was stolen while Kardashian was in Paris.
So, there’s definitely no hope for a West-Kardashian reunion since both of them are no longer wearing their wedding rings. In fact, the A-listers are no longer in speaking terms.
According to Page Six, West changed his numbers even before his ex-wife filed for divorce. And for any concern related to their children, Kardashian is instructed to contact him through his security.
