Mark Waters, best known for directing comedy hits like Mean Girls, Freaky Friday, and Just Like Heaven cast TikToker Addison Rae for his 2021 comedy He’s All That, a reboot of 1999’s She’s All That. The film features Rae as an influencer who has plans to transform one of the less popular boys in school into a prom king by the end of the year. After the movie was released in August 2021, it held the number 01 spot on Netflix in 78 countries, as noted by The Hollywood Reporter.

While Maddie Ziegler hasn’t originated from TikTok, the talented dancer and actress found significant success through her dance videos and skits on the mainstream media. Ziegler, who was mostly known for starring in music videos by Sia such as Chandelier and Elastic Heart, has decided to become a full-time actress. She has a supporting role in Steven Speilberg’s upcoming classic West Side Story, which is supposed to be one of the best movies of 2021.

Charli D'Amelio

Charli D'Amelio remains astonished that dancing on a social media platform such as TikTok has gained her 123.5 million followers and a ticket to Hollywood. The 17-year old TikToker has been a part of two projects since 2019. The TikTok star and her family is starring in The D'Amelio Show, which is releasing in 2021. Her notable movie includes StarDog And TurboCat, which saw D'Amelio lending her voice and starring alongside Luke Evans.

JoJo Siwa

JoJo Siwa has become an internet sensation over the years, and the 18-year old is just getting started. With over 36.8 million followers, she is one of the most influential celebrities on TikTok, as noted by Out. Her viral TikTok videos have landed her multiple movie roles, including The Angry Birds 2, Blurt, and her 2021 flick is called The J Team, which was released in September 2021, which follows the star being kicked out of her dance as she learns to find herself.

Kristen Hancher

Kristen Hancher had the most controversial relationship with TikTok when the star was banned in January 2021 for promoting her OnlyFans account. The 22-year old Canadian actress is best known for starring in various projects, from TV shows such as Mishaps and Mani to movie projects such as Sitting In The 80s. The 27-year old actor has been a part of three big projects, The Outfitted, Expelled, and Neighbors 2, which Seth Rogen and Zac Efron made. The film was a commercial success and put the star in the spotlight in his supporting role. Dallas also has a Netflix show called Chasing Cameron, which takes people behind the scenes of his career.
