French Montana is selling the Hidden Hills property that he bought from Selena Gomez five years ago for $5 million. Last year, he also tried selling the mansion for $6.6 million.

According to the LA Times, Montana purchased the mansion from Gomez for $3.3 million in 2016. Since then, the artist already had a huge recording studio installed in the property, and he has also painted it gray over a combination of purple and turquoise hues.

The “Unforgettable” singer’s house features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and five fireplaces. It also houses a gym, a wine cellar, and a movie theater. It also has a two-story billiards room, an indoor-outdoor family room, and a formal dining room. Outside the property are a courtyard, a swimming pool, a spa, and a fire pit.

Five years ago, Gomez put her former house on the market for $4.5 million, but Montana paid much less for the 7,700 square-foot property.

Last year, Montana purchased Paul George’s Hidden Hills compound for $8.4 million. And this could be why he has decided to sell Gomez’s former house.

According to Variety, George didn’t renovate the property during his stay there from 2016 to 2020. After all, the Hidden Hills compound still appears to be in its original condition.

The property reportedly houses multiple rooms and bathrooms. And it also has a massive private sunning patio, gray wall-to-wall carpeting, two dressing rooms, and walk-in closets.

Montana’s current house also has an entertainer’s patio complete with a fireplace and a separate music and TV center.

The “Writing on the Wall” singer doesn’t have any problems shelling out huge sums of money on his homes because he also has a massive net worth.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Montana’s net income is estimated at $16 million. And his salary mostly comes from his music career.

In 2002, Montana launched a series of mixtapes for Cocaine City. However, it took him five long years to release his debut mixtape. In 2009, he landed a huge break after signing a contract with Akon’s Konvict Muzik record label.

After two years and no luck with advancing his career, Montana signed with P. Diddy’s Bad Boy records. In 2010, he released his breakthrough single, “Choppa Choppa Down.”

In 2013, he released his first studio album, Excuse My French. And the album reached number one on the US Rap and US Hip-Hop and R&B charts.

His other hit singles include “Pop That” and “Wiggle It.”
