Ellen DeGeneres just revealed one major decision that she had to make after she sold her mansion in Beverly Hills.

During this week’s episode of Ellen Show, DeGeneres interviewed Courteney Cox. And during their conversation, she revealed that she stayed at the house of the Friends star.

But before the tabloids could even assume that DeGeneres moved out of her home due to her marital problems with wife Portia de Rossi, the comedian explained that this wasn’t the case.

Since DeGeneres decided to sell her property in Beverly Hills, she needed a place to stay and Cox was kind enough to offer her temporary shelter.

“I should explain. I'm not having marital troubles. I'm not out of my house because I'm — I'm not living with Courteney Cox because I'm kicked out of my house," she said.

DeGeneres then asked Cox what she thinks of her as her roommate, and the Cougar Town star doesn’t have a lot of positive things to say.

“Well, Ellen, let's just put it this way: first of all, you know, you're my style guru. So, I was nervous about you staying here, being that I haven't redone it. I haven't been there in a year. So, I had it cleaned and I moved everything off the right side of the bathroom so you'd have your space in the drawers,” Cox began.

The day after DeGeneres moved in, Cox asked her assistant to visit her house to check and see if everything is in order. She found out that DeGeneres occupied her side of the bathroom, and she also moved Cox’s makeup.

However, the funny woman was quick to say that it was her wife that should be blamed.

Last month, reports revealed that DeGeneres finally managed to sell her $47 million Beverly Hills mansion that she initially purchased from Adam Levine for $42.5 million.

Initially, DeGeneres put the property on the market for $53 million, but she decided to lower the asking price after failing to sell it quickly.

It is unclear why the Ellen Show host needed to stay at Cox’s house when she owns other properties in the United States.

Last year, DeGeneres also purchased a $33.3 million property in Montecito. and she managed to sell it for $27 million just months later.

DeGeneres has also been flipping houses throughout the past couple of years. With the help of de Rossi, the couple has already owned, renovated, and sold approximately 20 properties.
