The Super Bowl LVI 2022 is scheduled to be played on February 13, 2022. The venue is set as being the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, and the line up of performers for the halftime show is a highly anticipated, star-studded line up. Dr. Dre orchestrated a massive roster of talent to join him on the stage, including legends such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, to name a few. Everything seemed to be on track for this milestone moment to unfold on the Super Bowl stage, but then the omicron variant began to spread like wildfire. Now, with fears that the event may be canceled it has been revealed that if the show does get canceled, Dr. Dre is personally on the hook for millions.

Dr. Dre is responsible for producing some of the most prominent artists in the industry. The business mogul is among the most successful, and most influential artists and producers that the music industry has ever seen. He has a net worth nearing the $1 billion mark, and is currently sitting at $$780 million, which enabled him to front the costs associated with the half-time show, all on his own.

Sources revealed that Dr. Dre personally secured the cost of this huge event, and is the one that is going to be held responsible if the Super Bowl sees a major shift and is restricted from having fans in the stands.

The global pandemic has been with us for a long while now, but nobody expected it to linger this long, and the world seemed to be taken aback by the manner in which the omicron variant has managed to spread. While it appears likely that the Super Bowl will push through, Dr. Dre is likely starting to get nervous about what the worst-case-scenario could mean to his wallet.

Of course, like any good business man, Dr. Dre has secured himself with business insurance and the legal documents required to safeguard the integrity of the event. However, sources have confirmed that there is a pesky Communicable Disease Exemption clause within his insurance contract. This clause translates to Dr. Dre being left without compensation or coverage if the event is canceled for reasons directly related to Covid.

This clause was added prior to Covid and seems to have been around since the SARS outbreak, but that offers absolutely no comfort to Dr.Dre, who remains in a precarious 'wait and see' position at this time.

The show he has put together is described as being an epic reunion of major artists and big names that fans are eager to see. Hopefully the event will proceed so that fans can be satisfied and Dr. Dre can dodge the multi-million loss that he is currently facing.
