Cardi B, who has been in the news lately because of the lawsuit involving the blogger Tasha K has made the news today for buying a house in New Jersey. Reports also add that she will be spending about $1 million on the improvements of her new home. The newly purchased property is about a 25-minute drive from Washington Heights.

The news circulated in the media after the rapper revealed on her Instagram account that she would be getting a new home in the New York area, but she bought a house in New Jersey. Cardi B has said in her past interviews that she does not live just in one place because she needs to be everywhere due to her work. The rapper born in the Bronx then added that no matter where she needs to be, she has to have a home in her home city, New York.
The main home on the property features nine bedrooms with nine bathrooms and an additional bedroom located on the guesthouse. The massive 13,000 square feet property is gated and sits on about two acres of land, with every amenity one could ever imagine. It also features a 10-foot high ceiling with a movie theatre, powder room, gym, temperature-controlled wine cellar, and wet bar. Other amenities of the property include a tennis court, a cabana with a complete outdoor kitchen, and a pool with salt water. In addition, there is added security in the property since it is equipped with a smart home security system.
One of the property's main attributes is the elevator inside the house and the chef's kitchen that a banquet-sized dining room and a breakfast area. The new house was bought after the second child of Cardi B, and husband Offset came out in early September. The couple already has their three year old daughter named Kulture. The couple also owns an investment property in the Dominican Republic, which Offset gave to Cardi as a birthday present.
