Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli's Los Angeles home was reportedly burglarized with about $1 million worth of Jewelries stolen. According to the reports, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli were not home at the time of the break-in which occurred on Jan. 3. The home of the Full House alum Lori Loughlin, 57, and designer husband Mossimo Giannulli, 58, was hit by the burglars as confirmed by a representative for Loughlin.
It was the housekeeper who reportedly discovered the burglary that happened. According to the Police, they have reviewed the CCTV footage and noted that the burglars are wearing masks and all black clothing. The burglars gained access to the house by smashing the window on one of the bedrooms and discovered the jewelry box of Loughline which they eventually stole. The jewelry pieces inside the jewelry box are estimated to be worth $1 million.
As of this writing, the Police are still not sure if the burglars specifically targeted the couple’s house or were just randomly chosen. However, the law enforcements told TMZ that a certain South American burglary crew can be suspected to be the one who did the burglary. The police believe that the thieves travelled to America to execute burglaries then just flee the country after successfully cashing in from the stolen pieces.
The investigation for the said burglary is still ongoing and no arrest has been made as of the moment. The news of the burglary just came the same week that the costar of the Full House star Loughlin, Bog Saget, has died. The actor was said to be discovered on his hotel room in Orlando, Florida on January 9. Loughlin even shared a touching tribute to her costar and even attended the funeral on Friday. According to her statement to the Hollywood Life, she is still devastated by the death of her friend and words cannot even begin to express how she is feeling. She says that Saget is more than just a friend, he is a family to her and will dearly miss the actor whom she shared some wonderful memories with.
