Even though their divorce was granted in 2019, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue to be embroiled in a legal battle over the wine estate they formerly owned together.

Brad initially filed the lawsuit in June after Angelina sold her shares in the winery to Russian businessman Yuri Shefler, despite her ex-husband opposing the transaction. But now, Angelina is filing a countersuit against Brad. And in her complaint, she made a variety of startling revelations about her ex.

One of the incidents the complaint focuses on is a 2016 altercation that happened onboard a private jet between the former couple and their kids. Angelina has not spoken publicly about the incident that was the supposed catalyst for her divorce, until now.

Angelina claims that Brad choked one of their kids and then hit another. It’s unclear which of their six children was allegedly hurt.

"When one of the children verbally defended Jolie, Pitt lunged at his own child and Jolie grabbed him from behind to stop him,” the complaint alleges. “To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane's seats injuring Jolie's back and elbow.”

It continues, “The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened."

It also alleges that Brad poured beer on Angelina as well as beer and wine on their kids.

Furthermore, Angelina’s lawyers say that she attempted to sell her shares to Brad. But the filing claims that he then demanded she sign a non-disclosure agreement which would prevent her from “speaking outside of court” about the alleged abuse she and their kids experienced.

"Jolie refused to agree to such a provision, and Pitt walked away from the deal," the complaint states.

In August, it was reported that Angelina is suing the FBI following their investigation into the 2016 private jet incident, which they found Brad was not guilty of any wrongdoing.

Angelina – who filed the lawsuit under the pseudonym “Jane Doe” – is seeking to know why the FBI failed to arrest Brad after the altercation. The lawsuit claims they had probable cause to charge Brad but failed to do so.

Brad is also facing a $250 million countersuit in his ongoing lawsuit with Angelina, which was filed by her former company, Nouvel LLC, who claims the actor is “waging a vindictive war against” the estate.

Brad and Angelina were together for over a decade before they married in 2014. But they separated only two years later before their divorce was finalized in 2019.
