Lindsay Lohan has been ordered by a court to go into rehab. This is what she gets for driving under the influence.
Lindsay now says that the rehab is a blessing. She said this on The Tonight Show with David Letterman. Lindsay has appeared often on the show, and has always had a great sense of humor. David Letterman asked her how many times she has gone into rehab, and whether it would be different this time.
Lohan was distinctly uncomfortable as Letterman grilled her about how life is going to be at the rehab center. Lindsay tried to sound positive. She is a bright and chirpy girl and an optimist too. She will always try to make the most of any situation and come out a winner. Lohan said that rehab life is going to help her focus on things that really matter to her, instead of all those addictions that are just a temporary relief. Lindsay has lost a lot in the last couple of years because of her alcohol problems, she has been socially isolated. She has very few friends who are close to her now. It’s just her fans and family who have stuck with her and given her the support she needs.
When asked how many times she had gone into rehab, Lindsay revealed that it had been many. Looks can be deceiving, but it did seem that the actress was ashamed of herself. Lindsay is of course really lucky that she got a rehab sentence instead of a jail term. The actress had vehemently denied having done anything wrong. She even said that a rehab term would be absolutely and completely outrageous. However when the verdict was finally delivered, Lindsay could just manage a meek reply, saying that she was okay with all the terms of the verdict. Lindsay has certainly eaten humble pie. She is ready to repent for her wild behavior.
We hope Lindsay comes out of this stronger. Lindsay has appeared on the Anger Management show after the verdict. Her fans are by her side one hundred percent. She is very happy for this.
