Justin Timberlake The 20/20 Experience Was Worth the Wait

It has been seven years since Timberlake last released an album, during that time he pursued acting and appeared in movies such as "Friends With Benefits", "In Time", "The Social Network" and "Bad Teacher". He left many of his fans hanging and wanting him to return to his music roots, and many think it was worth the wait. Fans rejoice after his first single in years "Suit & Tie" featuring Jay-Z, was released and it was announced a full length album was on its way this March. We also now know that another album will be arriving in the near future, Timberlake himself announced.

Critics gave positive reviews to his new album calling his songs "engaging and refreshing" even though a lot of his songs are over five minutes long. His new album and already released singles "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors", created so much buzz in the media, that "Saturday Night Live" got it's highest ratings in a long time when he was host. The strong comeback means a bright future for his music career,  if he decides to continue making music. But even though his new album received highly positive reviews, it did not escape some negative ones. Some critics say he lacks some creativity because it seems that he brought a lot of the elements from his old albums onto his new one. Some said that "The 20/20 Experience" resembles "FutureSex/LoveSounds" in a big way.

Even though there was some bad press surrounding Timberlake's new album, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Timberlake has a winner on his hands and created buzz all over the media weeks before the entire album was released. Now fans are eager to find out when his second album will hit stores and will anxiously wait for its release.
