It is easy to envy the life of a Barbie. The girl has everything, from the perfect body, hair and a fantastic dream house. Let us not forget that Ken has some admirers as well. People from all around the globe have taken on these deep obsessions with wanting to look like Barbie or Ken. Many of these real-life Barbies have claimed that they have had to deal with deep insecurities which is what led them to plastic surgery. No matter what the real reason, these people have intrigued audiences with their appearances. Here are ten real-life Barbie and Ken dolls.
10. Blondie Bennett
Blondie Bennett has gained attention for being a 38-year-old woman who is transforming herself into a human Barbie doll on the inside and out. According to International Business Times, the California resident has spent over $42,000 on five breast augmentations that have brought her up to a size 32JJ. Although Bennett has not had to fork over any of the money herself as she has been able to get online sugar daddies to pay her bills. Bennett is going so far to the extreme to be like Barbie that she is using hypnotherapy in order to make herself brainless. She hopes for people to see her as a plastic sex doll.
9. Sarah Burge
Sarah Burge is a British mom that has made a name for herself by claiming that she has spent more than $800,000 on plastic surgery in order to look more like the beloved Barbie doll. However, it is her disgusting promotion of plastic surgery to her young daughters that have really made people say "ew." Burge made headlines when she gave her seven-year-old daughter a liposuction voucher worth $11,000 for Christmas. Burge claims that her daughter asks for surgery all the time and states that it's an operation that her daughter will be able to use in order to look good.
8. Rodrigo Alves
Brazilian-born, Rodrigo Alves is a man who has undergone twelve operations and eight other cosmetic procedures in order to look more like a Ken doll. According to The Daily Mail, Alves has spent over $170,000 on procedures to fix his appearance. However, not all of his surgeries have been smooth sailing. In January 2014, Alves encountered a highly dangerous situation when complications arose from a procedure to enhance his biceps, triceps and shoulders with silicone. The chemical began leeching into his system and he found himself back in the hospital and near death. This experience has not strayed Alves away from surgery as he is still contemplating another nose job.
7. Lolita Richi
Lolita Richi is a striving human Barbie from the Ukraine. She is sixteen-years-old with a 20 inch waist and a 32 F Bra size. Richi is one real-life Barbie that claims that she has not had any plastic surgery in order to achieve her Barbie looks, she claims she only wears special contact lenses. Richi told the UK Mirror that she believes she is the best doll-like beauty when it comes to comparing her to her competitors. She has also stated that she knows she can never be a model due to being only 5 foot 4 inches tall, but she will be extremely happy if she can become famous for her appearance in some other way.
6. Jenny Lee
America's own human Barbie is Jenny Lee. In 2004 she appeared on Oprah to talk about her 59 plastic surgery operations and how she has an obsession with beauty. Lee's appearance was very similar to Barbie although not near as extreme as other real-life Barbies. Lee explained that she has always dealt with insecurities based on her looks which is why she turned to plastic surgery in the first place. In 2013, Lee reappeared on Oprah for a "Where are They Now?" episode and Lee shockingly appeared larger and talked about how she now has to deal with Fibromyalgia. She has had to come to terms with her new appearance since being diagnosed with the disease and is ensuring that her daughter will not have the same image struggles that she had.
5. Dakota Rose
Teen internet sensation, Dakota Rose has her followers admiring her doll-like appearance with large, round eyes and porcelain skin. She is known to her fans as Kota Koti and has quite the following on YouTube with her fashion and beauty tutorials. Rose's exact age and whereabouts are unknown and many believe she is especially popular in Asia since the doll-like appearance is heavily popular over there.
4. Celso Santebanes
Twenty-year-old Brazilian, Celso Santebanes has become famous for his desire to become a human puppet, as he likes to call himself. According to The Daily Mail, Santebanes has spent over $48,000 on four surgeries in order to look like Barbie's boyfriend, Ken. Santebanes has explained that he has had a desire to look like Ken since he was sixteen-years-old and grew up with a shelf full of dolls. He has made quite the name for himself as he is in talks for his own reality television show and he is releasing his very own Celso doll.
3. Alina Kovalevskaya
This human Barbie is from Ukraine and Alina Kovalevskaya claims to be a bit more natural than her competition. According to Hollywood Life, Kovalevskaya states that she has never had any type of plastic surgery to look like a Barbie doll. She states that she gets her eyes to achieve that desired "Barbie look" by wearing special contact lenses and she avoids the sun in order to maintain her porcelain-like skin. Kovalevskaya told US Weekly, that she and other Barbie wannabe, Valeria Lukyanova used to be friends, but they are now rivals after she realized that Lukyanova was not someone she would ever like to be friends with or even talk to.
2. Justin Jedlica
Justin Jedlica first became famous when he appeared on an episode of ABC's 20/20. It was there that he was dubbed the title of "human Ken doll" since his upper body had been filled with silicone implants. In an interview with The Daily Beast, Jedlica explained that he has had 149 cosmetic procedures which have cost him a total of $170,000. He states that he didn't really aspire to look like a Ken doll, but he will take it as a compliment since Ken is the epitome of what a handsome man looks like. When asked about what he thinks about real-life Barbie Valeria Lukyanova, he recalls her as an interesting person and he hates how the two are compared to one another. He believes that it is very odd that Lukyanova is trying to put on an illusion of being a mannequin.

Ukrainian model, Valeria Lukyanova, is best known for her outrageous looks and statements on being a human Barbie Doll. Her bright, doll-like eyes and seemingly impossible proportions make you believe that you are actually starring at Barbie herself. Lukyanova has made some pretty strange statements about her life. According to Hollywood Life, Lukyanova stated that she is a spiritual teacher who can talk to aliens through light as she also believes that she is from another planet and has the ability to time travel. But, wait that is not all that life-size, Ukrainian Barbie has had to say. According to International Business Times, Lukyanova is part of a cult called, Breatharianism, which advocates living without food and water and solely relying on cosmic micro-food to survive. Lukyanova has mentioned that she is in the final stages of not eating before she can fully rely on air and light in order to survive.
