He has three movies in post-production for 2019 including Gemini Man, Spies in Disguise, and Aladdin. His role in Aladdin will be that of the genie which is pretty exciting for Disney fans.

It was Jaden Smith who wanted to get a change started when he was on the beach as a ten-year-old and saw water bottles floating in the water.

"This was a company born out of a child's love for the ocean,"

Will Smith told The Associated Press during an interview. Will Smith cofounded the company with his son to make a difference. "We did not want this to be a celebrity brand," he said. "We're just about to launch our second product and we felt like there were enough people who already have accepted the brand and it wouldn't look like celebrities trying to sell some water."

16 He’s Bringing Back Bad Boys

Via Curbed Miami

One of our favorite Will Smith movies was the Bad Boys, it was badass and funny all in one action film. You may have thought that the franchise was over, but Smith is bringing it back. It’s been announced that not only is there a movie titled Bad Boys for Life coming in 2020 but they’ve also announced a Bad Boys 4. We're liking the sound of that. If you are a fan, then you also have something to look forward to. If only we didn’t have to wait two years.

15 He’s Gone Skydiving

Via Twitter

He loves his extreme sports and maybe that’s why he chose to go bungee jumping for his birthday. When he went skydiving, he chose to go to Dubai. Maybe he met up with Lindsay Lohan while he was there. He was a little scared when he got in the airplane which anyone would understand, all things considered.

"In one second, you realize it's the most blissful experience of your life,"

he says in the video from Goalcast. "You're flying, there's zero fear. You realize at the point of maximum danger is minimum fear. Why were you scared in your bed the night before? What do you need that fear for?”

He was so moved by his skydiving experience that he made a motivational video that has been circulating on social media called “The Other Side of Fear.” He talks about how in order to get everything you want in life, you have to get on the other side of fear.

"Everything up to the stepping out, there's actually no reason to be scared. It only just ruins your day. The best things in life are on the other side of terror.

On the other side of your maximum fear are all of the best things in life."

13 He Wants To Be Free

Via Instagram

Will Smith has realized over the years that there is a lot to learn from his own kids.

"There's a certain expectation that has developed of me over the years, and in watching Jaden and all of my children, I'm learning to get free again to be me and do me without the absolute concern of every single moment trying to live up to an image of who I am,"

Smith said. "I found a really brand new freedom through watching my kids and how they tend, specifically Jaden, to not concern themselves with anything above honesty and truth and integrity to themselves first and foremost."

12 He Celebrated A big Anniversary

via instagram

It will be 20 years this year that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been together. That’s monumental, especially considering that they are a Hollywood couple. He posted a picture of the two of them on Instagram with this caption,

“I just realized, this year, we've been together more than half our lives!”

Jada responded to her spouse of 20 years, “How did we switch roles today? You write something sentimental and I'm trying to be funny on my Insta! But can you believe it? A whole lotta growth and miracles along the way. I'm proud of us.”

11 always travelling

via italymagazine.com

When you are as busy as Will Smith has been over the years, you don’t always have a lot of time for vacations. He spent some time in Italy this summer after coming home from working for months. He is sitting on a yacht as he watches his kids Jaden and Willow jet ski off the coast of Italy. He looks just the way most parents would look in the same situation. They spent a lot of time on a yacht as they toured around the Tyrrhenian Sea off the coast of Capri, bonding as a family. There are some videos of the experience on Smith’s Instagram page.

10 dad advice

Will Smith posted this cute photo of him and Willow on his Instagram page stating that he was finally home after months of working away and it was time to catch up with his family. Will Smith once told his daughter that he was glad that she didn’t have a curvy body. "He was so happy that, you know, I wasn't curvy, because guys look at girls,” she recalled. “He said that dudes look at the mind of a skinny girl before they look at their body.”

9 He’s a social media king

Via ARAMA! JAPAN

Most of his posts are inspirational self-made videos and every single one of them are awesome. He got on Instagram in 2017 and all his fans are grateful for it. He is thankful that he didn’t have it when he was younger.

“Fortunately, most of my career, I was shielded from that level of scrutiny. There actually was privacy. There was actually the ability to create mystery,"

he told The Hollywood Reporter. According to Mashable, there is a reason why his account rocks. “There are a few key things that make a celebrity Instagram account good: self-deprecation, behind-the-scenes access, and quality throwbacks — and the Fresh Prince passes all of these tests with flying colors.”

8 He's been to the top

We had no idea that volcanoes could even fart, but we were wrong. While in Italy, he went climbing up a volcano with his family. He filmed the whole experience as they climbed up a path towards the crater. Once they got there, they stared down into an active volcano. Will Smith poured some water onto yellow sulfur and got a burst of hot air in return. “That was a volcano fart,” he said.

7 He’s Gone to the Next Level With Jada

via wordpress

The two are married and have been together for a long time, but they don’t think of it that way. In fact, they believe they have transcended to another level. He was a guest on Tidal's Rap Radar podcast and said he and Pinkett Smith "don't even say we're married anymore." What does that mean?

"We refer to ourselves as life partners, where you get into that space where you realize you are literally with somebody for the rest of your life,"

the actor said. "There's no deal breakers. There's nothing she could do — ever. Nothing would break our relationship. She has my support till death and it feels so good to get to that space."

He’s experienced different careers throughout his lifetime, so why not add president to it? “Give me 10 years and I’ll make it,” said Smith, “provided I can squeeze in an NBA championship before that.” He was actually invited by the Clintons to spend the night in the Lincoln bedroom in 1999. “I told Bill that he should keep my room warm,” said Smith. “That might sound foolish to some,” he later told the NY Daily News, “But, in my mind, if Ronald Reagan can become President, then why not Will Smith?”

5 He Boxes With His Son Trey

Via Instagram

We don’t see too much of Trey because he is not in the same industry as his parents and for the most part, he stays out of the limelight. Will and his son Trey will often box together and even though Will Smith is turning 50, he can still give Trey a run for his money. It’s heartwarming to see them bond. “There's so much negative imagery of black fatherhood. I've got tons of friends that are doing the right thing by their kids, and doing the right thing as a father, and how come that's not as newsworthy?”

4 He Performed At Russia World Cup

Via Instagram

Will Smith performed the World Cup’s official song "Live It Up" during the closing ceremony in Moscow, Russia. There were giant screens laid out everywhere to see Smith in all his glory and you would have never thought it was a 50-year-old man out there. He was joined on the stage by Era Istrefi, a pop singer and Nicky Jam, a singer. It was a pretty good show and one that you should catch on YouTube if you haven’t already.

3 He Blew Us Away With His Christmas Sweater

Via instagram

When Christmas comes around, some of us like to pull out the old ugly Christmas sweaters and celebrate the meaning behind the holiday. Will Smith is no different and when he posted this photo on Instagram, he got even more love from fans. Jada was the one that picked out Christmas sweaters for the family to wear and he wasn’t having any part of it. “Somebody please help! Jada makes us wear these ugly-ass sweaters for Christmas. She’s Doing too much! And she’s just getting started,” Will posted.

2 He’s Not Worried About Being Number One

via Shadow and Act

When Bright came out on Netflix, it was met with some bad reviews. Will has had a strong career over the years and he wasn’t about to allow it to get to him. He's recognized now that he doesn’t always have to be number one. “The power has gone away from the marketers,” he told an audience at Cannes.

“I consider myself a marketer. My career has been strictly about being able to sell my products globally. But the power has gone away. The power is now in the hands of the audience, in the hands of the fans.

The only choice I have is to be in tune with their needs, not try to trick them into going to see Wild Wild West.

1 still the funny man we know

Via Instagram

He just returned home from shooting Gemini Man but he had a message for Georgians while he was in Georgia shooting the movie. He posted this picture on social media and many wondered what he was doing covered in netting. He captioned the photo with, “I love Georgia, I really do. But you all got to do something about the bugs,” burst out Smith in his video. It’s hard not to love his scene of humor and the pictures he took while there are pretty epic.
