When you're a celebrity your life becomes an open book. Not only is whatever you do in your current life going to become public knowledge but what you did in your past (provided it's interesting enough) is also going to get dredged up. For some celebrities that includes their past dating life. Such as Kristen Bell who in University was belting out the high-notes and knocking boots with the eventual Glee star, Matthew Morrison.

For other celebrities, their past may have happened under the public spotlight, but enough time has passed that people have forgotten. Ryan Reynolds is known for his marriage to Blake Lively. You may also remember him being married to Scarlett Johansson. But do you know which famed singer he was engaged to before that?

Other celebrities, like Aubrey Plaza and Michael Cera, were able to keep their relationship under the radar and only opened up about it more after it ended. And Emilia Clarke may be the Mother of Dragons, but do you know which famed voice-over actor (and creator) could have made her the mother of his children?

There are many couples going on in Hollywood that we're going to look back at and wonder how they ever got together. Something that will also happen with some of our wackier entries like Ivanka Trump and Topher Grace.

Whether it was destiny, or perhaps in Lindsay Lohan's instance too much to drink, these are 15 of the Oddest Celebrity pairings that everyone has forgotten about.

Michael Cera And Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza was appearing on a podcast with Ru Paul when the topic of past relationships came up. During which Plaza revealed how she was in a relationship with Michael Cera for a year and a half. In fact, she even admitted that they had considered marriage in Vegas.

When talking about how they met, Plaza stated it was on the set of Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World. As well as saying,

“We love each other, and we’re still really good friends. He’s just a weird little freak, and we speak the same language.”

At the end of the day, that's all that really matters anyhow. As long as everyone respects each other, that's what makes for good people going forward. It is true what they say though, being friends at the end of it all matters more than anything else.

The Start Of The Various Men Lindsay Lohan Grabbed

Lindsay Lohan has her own fair share of tabloid headlines that talk about her partying. But one of her most embarrassing moments may have been when the list she made of men she had taken to bed ended up getting leaked.

As revealed by In Touch magazine, several prominent names were on the list including Ashton Kutcher, Joaquin Phoenix, Justin Timberlake and Orlando Bloom. In total there were 36 names that were linked to Lohan, but some of the other more prominent names - including a recent major Award winner who is currently embroiled in a scandal - from the list are revealed below.

But hey, as long as everyone was enjoying themselves, that's all that really matters right? It was never Lindsay's men that caused trouble, but rather, it was the things she did in public. So really, this is nothing compared to her other scandals.

Josh Hartnett And Scarlett Johansson

Josh Hartnett has had many mistakes throughout his Hollywood career. But one thing that you may be surprised to hear he regrets was his decision to link up with Scarlett Johansson.

The two started canoodling in 2005 shortly after working together on Black Dahlia and stayed together for close to two years. But when talking about his decision to date his former co-star, he stated,

"I don’t recommend it to young actors. You can make a lot of enemies in the business that way."

Let's hope that despite this advice that he still has positive memories from his time together. While he may regretted it at the time, we have to wonder if he wishes he would have gone the distance with her, now that she is one of the most popular, and sought out actresses in Hollywood. Marvel is definitely glad to have her.

Seth MacFarlane And Emilia Clarke

There aren't many things that the cast of Game of Thrones are going to be able to do in society without getting it talked about in the tabloid media. Despite this, Emilia Clarke still did a relatively good job of keeping her 6-month relationship with Seth MacFarlane on the down low.

Though if we're being fair, MacFarlane and his contributions to the world that include Family Guy, American Dad and several movies should arguably be considered to be an even bigger star than Clarke - people just might not recognize his face as frequently. It's too bad they're broken up or he surely would have been one of the more entertaining guests at the eventual wedding of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner!

Justin Timberlake And Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Both Justin Timberlake and Channing Tatum are very happy in their marriages to Jessica Biel and Jenna Dewan-Tatum. But you may be stunned to hear that there was a time in Timberlake and Dewan's life where they were the ones keeping each other company.

Dewan, who at the time was a backup dancer for Timberlake, engaged in a casual relationship with Timberlake following his split from Britney Spears. When talking about their relationship on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Dewan revealed,

"We dated, not that long. We were like friends that dated," but did make sure to state, "I was not the rebound! I was very clear not to be [that]."

All things considered, their split kind of worked out for the best. Especially for Dewan, who, let's face it, rose to even bigger fame with Step Up, where she met her future husband Channing Tatum. Kind of seems like she traded up.

Wilmer Valderrama And Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore and Wilmer Valderrama will always hold a special place in their hearts for one another. When talking about their relationship to Andy Cohen, Moore revealed,

"He was my first boyfriend when I was 15. We can still be friends."

That was a far nicer thing to reveal than what Valderrama said on Howard Stern when he admitted that he was the first person Moore "went all the way" with. Though when you consider he was on Howard Stern, perhaps it's not too shocking that things too a raunchy turn. Also not shocking is the fact that Moore didn't take too kindly to this information becoming public knowledge. Sometimes, Wil, things should just stay private.

Colin Farrell And Britney Spears

Colin Farrell and Britney Spears turned heads back in 2013 when they appeared on the red carpet together for his movie The Recruit. The two were also spotted engaging in PDA, leading Spears to once say,

“Yes, I kissed him. He’s the cutest, hottest thing in the world — wooh! But it was nothing serious.”

So while the relationship may not have been anything serious, at least he got positive reviews from her. Plus, this photo of the two of them together may definitely cause you to do a double-take! Hopefully Spears was able to enjoy the movie, though in general critics - who gave the movie a score of 43% on Rotten Tomatoes - did not.

Still though, most people tend to forget that this fling actually existed, but then again, who can blame them? They were definitely not one of Hollywood's major flings to pay attention to.

Chris Evans And Jessica Biel

Chris Evans has had many women that have potentially been linked to him throughout his career. This includes reports that he had a public makeout session back in 2007 with Emmy Rossum and has even been rumored to have been with Elizabeth Olsen. As of now, he is currently with Jenny Slate, but they are doing a very good job at keeping their private life private (not an easy thing to do when you are in Hollywood).

But one of Evans' past relationships that there's no "rumor" about it, is his 5-year relationship with Jessica Biel from 2001 to 2006, to which he was even engaged. While Biel is happily married to Timberlake now, we're sure she and Chris can both look back fondly at this time period in their life as being a time where they both improved in major ways as partners and people. They even starred in two films together, so their chemistry was always there, but we have to wonder whether it's hard for them to look watch those movies now.

Ryan Reynolds And Alanis Morisette

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of the most recognized couples in Hollywood. And considering they've started a family now, you'd hope that's a relationship that is going to stay. Prior to being with Lively, Reynolds was even married to Scarlett Johansson, though no kids there.

But those aren't the only lovely lasses that he's been able to hold by his side. Reynolds also dated renowned Canadian singer, Alanis Morissette.

Reynolds and Morisette met in 2002 and in 2004, got engaged, but never took another step forward and split in 2007. Less than two years later, he was married to Johansson. However, we are happy to see that he and Blake seem to be doing well, and that he has finally met his match. They are definitely a couple that will end up going the distance.

Michael Buble And Emily Blunt

Michael Buble and Emily Blunt were together for three years but were rocked by a split in 2008. Not helping matters for Blunt were the heavy allegations that Buble may not have been a faithful partner.

While Buble has not confirmed this, he did later describe his behavior in past relationships as,

"I was a jerk and I was careless and reckless with the hearts of women I was with. And I got my karma. I earned it. I got my butt and heart kicked and it hurt me enough that I looked in the mirror and I didn't want it to happen again."

Blunt rebounded in a major way by landing the star of The Office, John Krasinski. They have become one of Hollywood's cutest couples that people simply can't get enough of. They're way too cute to handle.

Edward Norton And Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek is definitely thrilled to be married to her current husband, Francois-Henri Pinault. But while Pinault may be a billionaire, her past lover, Edward Norton may be a lot more familiar to you.

The two were together for 4 years, eventually calling it quits in 2003.

It's very possible that with the power of hindsight, that Hayek would have jumped out of that relationship far earlier, as she once said to ET Online,

"I wish I knew [when I was younger] that I was going to fall crazy in love with the perfect man. I was so worried, and I dated some people I shouldn't have dated. You get desperate, and you start seeing wonderful things in, like, the wrong guys. I also found some pretty good guys."

Matthew Morrison And Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell is one-half of one of the most adorable couples in Hollywood alongside Dax Shepard. But prior to being won over by Dax and the bright lights of Hollywood, Bell was once a student at NYU.

One of the ways she made her time at the University more memorable was from engaging in some extra bouts of cardio with Matthew Morrison, who to his own credit, went on to find huge success with Glee. When talking about their relationship, Bell stated,

"I actually went to college with Matt Morrison. We actually dated very briefly, so I'll have to say maybe Matt Morrison is my favorite part of Glee for various reasons."

Although they didn't end up together, needless to say that the two of them are probably very proud and happy with where their lives have taken them. They are two respected people with good acting roles under their belt, so there is no reason for either of them to be sad about their lives.

Topher Grace And Ivanka Trump

Topher Grace's public relations team perhaps knew better than to comment on his dating life when they were asked about it back in 2006. Something Grace was probably grateful at the time and is especially thankful for now when you learn that he was spending some intimate time with Ivanka Trump.

It was reported that the two attended her 25th birthday party together in Las Vegas and also left the venue together, which means they must have been close for him to receive the invitation as the date for the woman of the night. This pairing is all the weirder in your head if you, like many people, know Topher Grace for his role as Eric Foreman on That '70s Show.

Lance Bass And Danielle Fishel

There are a few reasons as to why Danielle Fishel and Lance Bass may be a shocking celebrity pairing. The first being the fact that Lance Bass is now very public about his preference for not dating women. But prior to making that decision, he had a relationship with Danielle Fishel.

It may also be weird to see Fishel, aka Topanga from Boy Meets World, holding arms with anyone but Cory! When talking about their first date together, Fishel revealed they went to a Celine Dion Christmas taping and made a joke that perhaps that should have been one of the first signs that Bass wasn't into the assets she brought to the table. Either way, at least she's able to joke about it now, seeing as not everyone can do that.

Even More Of Lohan's Men

Lindsay Lohan's activities in the bedroom were allegedly rampant enough that she earned two spots on our list. Along with wooing the men that we included above, other big names that she allegedly canoodled with from her list include Adam Levine, Benicio Del Toro, and James Franco.

Lohan even took the Joker, Heath Ledger, back to her room for some time together. Let's hope with all this activity going on that Lohan utilized proper protection! She had to admit to these things by writing it down. When talking about why she wrote the note, Lohan stated,

"I wrote it when I was at the Betty Ford clinic. Writing that was one of my steps in AA."

It is basically no shock that she would have been with someone like James Franco, who is definitely known for liking the presence of women (as do a lot of men in Hollywood). But specifically Franco because he is one who always liked a good party, and what better woman to go to than the queen of it, Lohan herself.
