Selena Gomez Helps Puma Debut New Sneaker

Selena Gomez fans are about to get happy feet. The singer's newly designed show, the Phenom Lux is due to hit select stores on April 6, 2018. Gomez has been a spokesperson for Puma, along with Puma alums Rihanna and Kylie Jenner, since last September. Unlike Rihanna and Jenner, Gomez is now a shoe designer for the brand.

Photos of her shoe, completely white with a gold chain around one ankle, were just recently released on Puma's Instagram account. Of her shoe, Gomez wrote, "I got to design every single part of it. I wanted a shoe that was super clean, I'm very into sneakers with my dresses, with my outfits, everything. And I added this cute little charm because it's something I used to do when I was younger."

The singer also announced that some of the proceeds from the sales of her design will go to benefit the Lupus Research Alliance. "I'm also proud to partner with them in helping to affect lives and bring attention to a cause that is very important to me personally," Gomez said.

Last September, Gomez took to Instagram to announce that she took time off to have a kidney transplant over the summer due to complications with lupus. Many felt touched by her story since her best friend, Francia Raisa, donated the kidney to Gomez.

Lately, the star has taken some time away from her on again off again boyfriend Justin Bieber, though, with how busy Gomez has been, she doesn't seem too devastated with the time apart. The two reconnected not long ago after the star broke things off with her then-beau The Weeknd, but now, she appears to be single!
