Robert Pattinson's first big break was as a minor character in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. His performance helped him land the role he's best known for: Edward Cullen from the Twilight franchise, where he played chivalrous vampire who ended up falling for Bella Swan, a human. The movie kicked off the hugely successful franchise that spawned five movies and grossed hundreds of millions of dollars. Since moving on from Twilight, he's starred mainly in indie films that have showcased his acting range. His return to blockbusters will be as Batman in The Batman, due out in 2021.
With so much success, you'd think that Robert's achievements would be his main draw, but that's not always the case. The public is just as infatuated with his love life as his performances. Sometimes, the details of his personal life even overshadow his performance altogether! The interest in his relationships started with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart and continued through his failed engagement with singer FKA Twigs, not to mention all of the stops in between. These days, there isn't quite as much to talk about. Mainly because Robert seems extra protective of his relationships now.

Soko
As far as romantic relationships go, Soko is a name that most people associate with Kristen Stewart, Robert's Twilight co-star and ex-girlfriend. But she also dated Rob at one time--at least if you consider going on a blind date dating.
The singer/songwriter admitted, in 2016, that she and Robert once went on a blind date. She didn't go into detail about their night out, but she doesn't appear to hold any hard feelings for him, so we can assume they're on good terms. Given that nothing came of this particular relationship, however, Soko lands at number eight on our list of Robert's exes.
Erika Dutra
Erika Dutra doesn't often get mentioned much when Robert Pattinson's love life gets brought up. That's because they weren't together long at all. Perhaps, not even officially. However, we do know, per Erika's admission, that they hung out at least once.
That outing spurred rumors of flings and secret romances, but neither party has ever confirmed a relationship. Maybe it was a fling, and maybe it was nothing at all. There's no way to know. Either way, a fling beats as blind date either day. Therefore, Erika comes in at number seven.
Mia Wasikowska
Twilight isn't Robert's only film that introduced him to a potential girlfriend. He also dated his Maps To The Stars and Damsel co-star, Mia Wasikowska. It wasn't until their second team up in 2017's Damsel that a romance bloomed between the actors.
Their relationship lasted less than a year, and both parties have been pretty mute about the whole thing, so we don't really know what happened there. For Robert's part, however, he moved on pretty quickly to another famous face on our list: Suki Waterhouse.
Nina Schubert
In 2003, five years before Twilight mania kicked off, Robert Pattinson was a seventeen-year-old guy living in England. At the time, he was dating would-be model Nina Schubert, who is believed to have been his first real love.
Their relationship lasted for three years. Unfortunately, their plans for the future were thrown out when Rob's acting passions took him to Los Angeles, away from Nina. Despite their premature end, there are no hard feelings between the exes. To this day, they still act as each other's confidants when times get tough.
Nikki Reed
Kristen Stewart isn't the only Twilight co-star that Robert dated. He also dated Nikki Reed, who played Rosalie Cullen in the film series. Actually, he dated Nikki first. Their relationship lasted for a few months, during the early days of shooting the first Twilight film.
Eventually, Robert moved on with Kristen Stewart, who played his love interest during the duration of the franchise. Naturally, Robert's switch-a-roo caused a rift between Nikki and Kristen, which appears to live on to this day.
Suki Waterhouse
Suki Waterhouse is Robert's current girlfriend. He entered into a relationship with her shortly after he ended his engagement with FKA Twigs.
Since murmurs of their relationship started circulating, the pair have reportedly broken up and gotten back together. As 2019 ends, Robert and Suki are together. There's no telling what the future holds for this couple, but maybe there will be wedding bells in their future as well. Time will tell.
Kristen Stewart
Robert Pattinson's relationship with Kristen Stewart is easily his most high-profile. Their love story played out on a global scale, thanks to the widespread popularity of Twilight and the romance of their onscreen characters, Edward and Bella.
Rob and Kristen's relationship is thought to have started in 2009, but things weren't confirmed right away. Three years later, they broke up after Kristen cheated on him with the director of Snow White and The Huntsman, a film she starred in. Despite Kristen's infidelity, they briefly reconciled before permanently splitting up a few months later, in 2013.
FKA Twigs
The public's fixation with Robert Pattinson's relationship with FKA Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, didn't quite rival the amount of press his time with Kristen Stewart garnered. But that doesn't mean it didn't inspire chatter.
Their relationship started about a year after Robert and Kristen called it quits, lasted for three years, and even included an engagement. Unfortunately, the former lovebirds never made it down the aisle, due to conflicting schedules. Despite this, Rob's relationship with FKA Twigs is the closest he's come to marriage (even though Suki might change that). Therefore, their relationship lands in the number one spot!
