A new pair of one of a kind LeBron 15s are worth big money and are most expensive shoes of its kind ever made.
The Shoe Surgeon, otherwise known as shoe designer Dominic Chambrone, has teamed up with Nike to celebrate the legendary basketball player's 30,000 career points. It was a milestone both companies thought should be well, marked in stone. These shoes were a gift for the king, and they are definitely fit for a king.
Chambrone used only the highest quality materials for LeBron James' unique sneaker. It is made out of real crocodile skin that has been dipped in 24 karat gold. Each side of the metal shoe has a metal zipper, you know, in case he needs to keep some spare change or something in his high priced kicks.
Even the pull handle on the zippers are made out of gold, with the number two on one and number three on the other for his jersey number 23. 14 grams of 18-karat gold was used in each zipper pull, and that is not even the crazy part. The shoelaces are made out of real gold, and not just some painted gold laces.
All of these things may out sound slightly hideous, but they are not. In fact, they are pretty sweet looking, with their gold-plated heels and aglets feature 2.32 carats of diamonds spelling out the words World and Champion. Even if you are not a big fan of the basketball player, you have to admit that having a sneaker dedicated to you filled with gold and diamonds is pretty cool.
The total value of these LeBron 15s is over $100,000 and quite an undertaking. However, Chambrone has revealed it was all the blood, sweat and tears he put into the sneakers to honor King James. Can you imagine having someone put so much time, effort and money into a present? We certainly can't so it must be nice to be LeBron James.
It is unlikely fans will see him wearing these gold sneakers on the court, but thankfully, Chambrone has shared some fantastic pictures of the shoes. What do you think of the one of a kind gold infused LeBron 15s are they cold or too much?
