Did you ever want to live like Madonna and Guy Ritchie? Well now is your chance to live like they did when they were married.
Madonna and Ritchie's former London home is now for rent. It is located in the Kensington area of London and can only be booked through the vacation rental site HomeAway.com. As you can imagine it is quite the home, after all, it did house one of the most famous couples in the world and their children for years.
So what can you expect from a night in Madonna's former home? It only has two bedrooms, but don't let that scare you away because it can sleep up to six people. The home has a traditional mews-house style that includes two bathrooms, an open entertaining area, and a gourmet kitchen that any cook would die to use, even for one evening.
It comes with two bathrooms, one of which has a paved limestone shower. Plus, there is a substantially large library containing books from the floor to the ceiling. Beautiful French doors lead out to a balcony with spectacular views. The windows in the living room are arch-shaped allowing for plenty of light during the day or night.
Tourists will find the house located near several of London's must-see visitor spots. Hyde Park, Kensington Palace are nearby, as well as London's famous shopping district Kensington High Street. The home was even featured in Ritchie's film Cake. Madonna and her ex-husband owned the beautiful property from 1999-2003.
Staying at night at this house is not going to be cheap. You can't want to live like the singer and the filmmaker and not expect to shell out some serious cash. The price of one night at the London home will run you $973, according to People magazine.
If you can afford that kind of price, then there really is no downside to renting the house. It is in excellent condition, near a lot of tourist activities and Madonna used to live there. Seriously what more could you ask for?
What do you think about the possibility of staying in the house Madonna and Guy Ritchie once owned? Would you pay almost $1,000 a night to stay there?
