Since the first season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians came out, Kim Kardashian has been rising to the status of global icon. Now, with more than 60 million Twitter followers under her belt, she is one of the most influential people on the planet.
Kim uses Twitter for many things, ranging from promoting her products to connecting with her fans to setting rumors straight. 10th Place: The Jesus Is King Reveal
Kim Kardashian really is a Twitter queen and her followers love interacting with her on the platform. One of the best things about the way Kim uses Twitter is that she makes subtle announcements from her account. Fans love staying tuned to see what’s happening in her life, and in her family’s lives. O September 27, she posted this simple Tweet to prepare the world for Kanye’s album Jesus Is King.
“Have faith…”
Although short, the tweet was super exciting because it accompanied the tracklisting of her husband’s new album.
The Puppies Tweet
One of our favorite things about Kim Kardashian’s Twitter is that she often uses the platform to connect with fans and even ask their advice. Case in point: the puppies tweet, which she sent out on September 20. Kim asked for help with deciding what to name the West family’s new furry friends.
“What should we name our new Pomeranian puppies? We already have Sushi and for sure we like the name Saké. So should we name the other one Soba (Noodle) or Soy Sauce (Soy for short).”
The M&M Tweet
Kim has made headlines for a lot of things during her career, but this may be one of the best. Kim’s idea about microwaving M&Ms went viral after she shared it on social media. We have to admit that this technique is pretty revolutionary!
“Put them on a plate then in the microwave for 30 seconds and it will change your life! Melted on the inside and crunch on the outside.”
Kim posted the instructions for the melted candy on November 23 before sending out several more tweets related to the M&Ms over the next few days.
The Throwback Tweet
Who doesn’t love a good throwback tweet? It’s not so much the words in the tweet that we love in this case, but rather the accompanying photo that Kim posted on September 24:
“The real simple life…I was 18 here. Khloe and I would drive to Arizona to visit Allison & Kourt.”
There’s nothing we love more than seeing throwback photos of Kim Kardashian before she became a household name. She definitely looks different in this photo! But she looks peaceful and content in the middle of the desert.
The Armenia Tweet
It is well known that the Kardashian family is of Armenian descent through Robert Kardashian Senior. Kim has been vocal about her connection with Armenia and has even documented her visits to the country. She also speaks up about human rights issues and other political topics related to Armenia, as she did with this tweet on October 30:
“Yesterday was such a huge victory for the Armenian people when the US House Of Representatives acknowledged the Armenian Genocide! This photo was taken of me and my children this month in Armenia by Jackie Nickerson.”
The Sticking Up For Khloe Tweet
If there’s one thing we always have time for, it’s seeing the Kardashian sisters stand up for each other. Although they may fight on the show, they are always sticking up for each other in real life. When a Twitter user asked why Khloe was so quick to go back out in public following the cheating scandal with Tristian Thompson and Jordyn Woods, Kim hit back with this tweet on February 22:
“Would you prefer she lose the [money] too? A single mom has to work too boo! This was a professional commitment planned far in advance and you better believe she is not waiting on anyone to pay her bills or provide for her daughter. PERDIODT!!!”
The Versace Dress Tweet
Kim is one of the most popular fashion and beauty icons on the planet, but that doesn’t mean she’s afraid to keep it real. On the contrary, the reality star is known for talking candidly about any issues that she’s battling and recently opened up about some weight gain. She posted this photo both to Twitter and Instagram, accompanied by the caption:
“How good would this @versace dress have been if it fit.”
The reason why so many fans love Kim is that she’s not afraid to admit when the dress doesn’t fit!
The Birthday Present Tweet
Without a doubt, this is one of our favorite Kim Kardashian tweets of 2019. She posted it on October 21, her birthday, to show the world what her family gave her. The accompanying picture speaks for itself but Kim explained what the deal was in the tweet anyway:
“I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye [bought] me the most amazing bags. But he also donated $1 million to my favorite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy!”
The Rodney Reed Tweet
Kim has been getting involved in more charity work and activism in 2019 and is particularly passionate about prisoners who are unfairly sentenced without being given a chance to prove their innocence. We love seeing this side of Kim, which is why this tweet made it so high on our list. She tweeted it on November 15 about Rodney Reed, a man convicted of a 1996 murder who maintains his innocence:
“We have heard people all around the globe speak up. And all because of a deep belief that every man or woman accused of a crime - especially one punishable by death - deserves the chance to have all available evidence considered.”
The Kris Birthday Tweet
This tweet, describing the gift that Kim gave her mom for her birthday, tops our list. As a surprise, Kim took the family back to their childhood house for a special lunch. Here, the family was able to reminisce on their journey and remember their late husband and father Robert Kardashian.
“This was the most special, nostalgic day of my life and we felt my dad’s presence enjoying this day with us! I kept it together at lunch even though I cried during the planning process. But at the end I went into my old bathroom, closed the door & cried so hard.”
