Over the years, the Kardashian (and Jenner) girls have been involved in some very high-profile relationships.
As international stars, when single, these young ladies are among the most eligible bachelorettes on the planet. They have been able to garner the attention of some of the biggest celebs in the game, which includes many of today's top athletes. Several of these courtships have been made public, while others have flown under the radar.
To get everyone up to speed, we are going to take a look at 10 professional athletes who have been romantically linked to a member of the Kardashian clan.
Blake Griffin
Power forward Blake Griffin was the 1st overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. The basketball star is currently a member of the Detroit Pistons organization but spent most of his career as a Los Angeles Clipper. Griffin is a 6-time all-star and has been one of the best players in the league over the past decade.
In 2017, the NBA standout began dating supermodel Kendall Jenner. However, the courtship ended up being short-lived, as the pair had already parted ways by April of 2018. The two were later spotted (separately) at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Fest but seemed uninterested in sparking an old flame.
Reggie Bush
After an outstanding college career at USC, running back Reggie Bush was selected 2nd overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. He would go on to have a noteworthy career in the NFL and was a member of the New Orleans Saints team the won Super Bowl XLIV.
As longtime fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians know, Reggie Bush and Kim K were an item at one point. The two were introduced to each other by another famous football player, quarterback Matt Leinart in 2007. The couple broke up in 2009 – briefly got back together – before splitting up for a final time shortly after their reconciliation.
Rashad McCants
Rashad McCants is a former NBA shooting guard who played for both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Sacramento Kings. An outstanding college player; McCants was a member of North Carolina Tar Heel team that won the NCAA Championship in 2005. He is also a former 1st round draft pick.
In 2008, while still in the NBA, McCants dated Khloe Kardashian. However, the relationship was seemingly over before it even got started. The former NCAA champ and the reality starlet’s courtship only lasted about a month. Soon after, Kardashian would be romantically linked to another NBA star and embarked upon a relationship that lasted significantly longer.
Ben Simmons
LSU’s Ben Simmons was the 1st overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. The 22-year-old superstar is currently a member of the Philadelphia 76ers and recently became an all-star for the very 1st time in 2019. His trophy mantel also includes the 2018 NBA Rookie of the Year Award (he sat out his 1st season in the NBA due to injury).
Simmons and Kendall Jenner met through a mutual friend and made their relationship official this past February. They were even given their very own couple nickname, “Bendall.” Despite the quirky couple moniker, the two still ended up parting ways this past May.
Lamar Odom
Lamar Odom is a retired basketball star who played in the NBA from 1999 to 2013. As an athlete, he is best known for being a member of the Los Angeles Lakers from 2004 to 2011. During that span, he helped the Lakers capture two NBA Championships in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
Following her short-lived romance with Rashad McCants, Khole Kardashian began dating Lamar Odom. The couple ended up getting hitched after dating for only a month. The high-profile wedding was featured on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. They even got their own spin-off reality series entitled Khloe & Lamar. After helping Odom recover from a near death experience and addiction, the couple officially divorced in 2016.
Kris Humphries
Retired NBA Basketball player Kris Humphries is a former 1st round picks that played for a total of 8 teams over the course of his career. The Utah Jazz, New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, and Washington Wizards are just a few of the teams the 6-foot-9 guard signed with.
In truth, Humphries gained more notoriety for being romantically linked to Kim Kardashian than he did for his accomplishment on the court. The couple began dating in 2010, and their relationship was featured prominently on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. They would go on to wed. However, Kim K filed for divorce just 72 days after walking the aisle. The divorce was finalized in June of 2013.
James Harden
Like many Kardashian exes, James Harden was a 1st round draft pick. The talented guard was originally drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2009 but has spent most of his career as a Houston Rocket. In 2018, Harden won the NBA Most Valuable Player award. The bearded scoring machine is also 7-time All-Star and 2-time league scoring champ.
Khloe Kardashian and Harden were an item back in 2015. However, despite being a professional sports star, the Rocket’s guard didn’t care for the additional attention he received from dating one of the most famous reality stars on the planet. As a result, the relationship ended the same year it began.
Cristiano Ronaldo
As our list has shown, the Kardashian girls clearly have a thing for NBA players. That being said, they have also been known to canoodle with stars from other sports. One such athlete was Cristiano Ronaldo, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest soccer players of all-time. The Portuguese standout is one of the most prolific goal scorers of his generation.
Following her breakup with Reggie Bush, Kim K had a short-lived romance with the soccer star back in 2010. There aren’t a ton of detail regarding the courtship, but the duo was seen getting cozy in public roughly a decade ago.
Tristan Thompson
1st round draftee Tristan Thompson has been a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers since his pro career began back in 2011. The 6-foot-10 center was a member of the Cavs team that captured the NBA championship in 2016. Thompson was born in Toronto, Canada and has played on the Canadian national team.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were involved in a highly publicized relationship that began in late-2017. Less than a year later, the pair had a child together – a daughter named True Thompson. Earlier this year, in February, the couple officially parted ways – as Thompson’s eye had apparently wandered.
Jordan Clarkson
Jordan Clarkson is a guard in the NBA who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers and was previously a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. In 2015, the former 2nd round pick was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. He’s coming off the best season of his career in 2019, has averaged a career-high 16.8 points per game.
Back in 2016, Clarkson was said to be secretly dating Kendall Jenner. The rumor was supported by a video that showed the pair smooching on New Year’s Eve. However, as 2016 came to a close, so too did their brief romance.
