Companies go to the most followed influencers, send them free products or content, and then pay these influencers per post. This has also led to more career opportunities for these influencers. And while there are hundreds of unique influencers in all different areas, here are just some of the 10 most highly paid.

MICHELLE LEWIN: $33,900

Fitness influencer, Michelle Lewin, hails from Venezuela and made her career by showing off her fitness routine. A stunning woman with a rock-hard body, it's clear why so many people are infatuated with Lewin.

As this article is published, Lewin has 13.5 million followers and makes around $33,900 per post. She now has a net worth of $3 million thanks to her personal training and workout programs among other business ventures.

JAMES CHARLES: $37,400

Over in the cosmetic world, James Charles is kicking butt and taking names. With 15.9 million followers, Charles shows off his incredible skill with makeup and fashion. The New York native is also only 20 years old and is already making $37,400 per Instagram post. Something that sets James apart from other men in the cosmetic industry is that he was CoverGirl's first male ambassador. This achievement made him a big name (and some big money) in the industry.

CHIARA FERRAGNI: $58,300

Chiara Ferragni is an Italian blogger with 17.8 million followers. Her blog The Blonde Salad took off and showcases Chiara's style and lifestyle. She's even caught the attention of Forbes and New York who both branded her a person to watch in the fashion industry off Instagram.

Her blog–and later, her Instagram—landed her deals with Guess, Steve Madden, and led to her own fashion line. With a net worth of over $10 million, she makes just under $60,000 per post.

LOGAN PAUL: $65,400

We're all familiar with YouTuber Logan Paul, aren't we? He started off making comical YouTube videos and posts but after a few years in the spotlight, his outrageous adventures turned dark. His downfalls haven't slowed him up though. He's making $65,400 a post, according to Hopper Hq. He has 16.9 million followers on Instagram and has slowly started dipping his toes in the acting pond.

FELIX KJELLBERG: $70,800

Felix Kjellberg—also known as PewDiePie—is a YouTuber from Sweden who is known for his humorous content and gaming capabilities. At 30 years old, Felix has 20.8 million followers and makes a little over $70,000 a post on Instagram.

Since 2013, Felix has been one of the most subscribed YouTube accounts. His goofy videos and pictures have clearly garnered a large following, working with Maker Studios, Twitch, and more.

ZACH KING: $82,900

At 29 years old, Zach King makes a staggering $82,900 per Instagram post. He became well-known on social media thanks to his Vine and YouTube videos and now showcases similar content on Instagram. He has 22 million followers and loves to create films and put videos together. Thanks to social media, fans are also able to see his adorable relationship with his wife and two kids as they all create together.

SOMMER RAY: $86,600

With a net worth of $4.5 million, fitness influencer Sommer Ray knows where the money's at. Making $86,600 per post, she has 23.3 million followers. What's even crazier is that she's just 23 years old! Due to her fame on Instagram, she launched a YouTube page, which also does incredibly well.

She often posts vlogs on her IG page and answers fans' questions. She makes a pretty penny from the brands that she wears in her workout photos and images but she's more of a lifestyle influencer than just fitness.

CAMERON DALLAS: $86,600

Cameron Dallas made his fortune thanks to Vine and YouTube but is now very much into Instagram. He's the jack of all trades, really. After becoming famous from his prankster videos, he started getting into acting and even had his own show on Netflix. With 21.3 million followers on Instagram, Cameron makes $86,600 per post but it comes with a price. Cameron is said to have his demons and is on the road to recovery.

HUDA KATTAN: $91,300

Makeup vlogger Huda Kattan makes an insane amount per Instagram post. At $91,300, Huda shows off her insanely amazing makeup skills and sense of style. She's really an empire at this point.

At the beginning of her career, she started doing makeup for high-end clientele before moving to Dubai and working with makeup brand Revlon. Her personal Instagram has 1.8 million followers but her brand has over 40 million!

LELE PONS: $144,000

Lele Pons does it all. After getting her start on Vine, she branched out to YouTube and Instagram where she now makes a reported $144,000 per post. She's known for her beauty but also her comedic timing. She loves to post funny videos and pictures with a twist. Due to her online presence, she signed with Shot Studios. Now that she has 37.8 million followers on Instagram, she has gotten into writing, acting, dancing — she does it all for the 'gram (and she'll do it all for a laugh).
