Hallmark Channel is set to create a radio station dedicated to Christmas music, so you can get in the holiday spirit immediately.
The channel known for their Christmas movies is taking their love of the holidays to a whole new level. Hallmark Channel not only celebrates Christmas in July but will launch its first-holiday movie before Halloween. Now, it has been confirmed the network will add owning a radio station to its list of credits.

SiriusXM will be home to the new Christmas station. Hallmark Channel Radio will be found on channel 70. It launches on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, which just so happens to coincide with the network's Countdown to Christmas festivities. The special holiday celebration leading up to the best time of year will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, with the film Pemberley Manor.
Listeners will enjoy a wide variety of classic carols and modern jams. SiriusXM currently has over 33 million listeners who will get the pleasure of indulging in holiday music early this year. Plus, the new station has landed a very familiar face to be its host, Hallmark Channels very own Christmas Queen Candace Cameron Bure.
The Fuller House star isn't the only celebrity that will be stopping by Hallmark Channel Radio. There will be features on many actors including Lacey Chabert and Danica McKellar, who both have starred in a slew of holiday flicks for the network. Many other celebrities are expected to stop by and discuss behind the scenes movie details on the station before it shuts down on Dec. 29, 2018.
We've got even MORE exciting news for you! 🤩 We're launching our very own @SIRIUSXM Radio Station featuring all the classic Christmas music 🎶 and carols you love, just in time for #CountdowntoChristmas! 🎄 Coming Nov 1 on Ch. 70. 📻 https://t.co/ecAXRc9wO4— Hallmark Channel (@hallmarkchannel) October 24, 2018
Yes, even though many love Christmas all year sound, Hallmark will not be in the radio business all year. There is no word on whether this is going to become a permanent thing the network will do each year or if this particular radio station will only take place this year. Each of Hallmark's 37 original holiday films will feature a soundtrack that will be played on the new radio station.
The most wonderful time of the year just got a little better with the addition of Hallmark Channel Radio playing nothing but holiday music 24/7. Are you excited for the new radio station, or has the network gone a little overboard with their Christmas obsession?
