Game Of Thrones' Fans Will Never Know What Daenerys Whispered To Ser Jorah

Daenerys whispered something to Ser Jorah on Game Of Thrones this week, but fans will never be told what her words were.

If you're a Game Of Thrones fan, and we're assuming you are since you're reading this, but behind on your viewing, look away now. This article features some serious spoilers regarding the last two episodes of the show. Okay, now that's out of the way, in the space of a little more than a week we have been forced to say goodbye to some of our favorite GoT characters.

Now don't get us wrong, we have been watching GoT from day one. That means we have become hardened to the fact that some of our favorite characters are going to die. However, so many in such a short space of time coupled with the fact that there are inevitably bigger and more upsetting ones to come, it pretty much has us on the edge of our seats even when we're not watching the show.

One of the teariest goodbyes so far this season was Ser Jorah Mormont's. Jorah has shown unwavering loyalty to Daenerys for the entirety of the show. That's why it was incredibly fitting for him to not only die defending her from White Walkers, but in Dany's arms after he had accomplished his mission. It would have brought a tear to a glass eye and if you didn't cry well, your hearts must be made of granite.

On this week's episode, the surviving characters had to say goodbye to those who passed. That included Dany whispering something in Ser Jorah's ear. Entertainment Weekly asked Iain Glen, aka Jorah, what the Khaleesi said to him. His response? "I’ll always cherish it because it’s something no one will ever know but the two of us."

Glen revealed that the line wasn't scripted, and it was up to Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) to whisper whatever she wanted to him in the moment. She was also directed to say it quietly enough that it wouldn't be picked up by microphones or even be heard by any other cast members. That means the only two people in the world who know what she said are Dany and Jorah, and it looks as if it will forever remain that way.
