As one of the most relevant achievements of the South Korean genre, Black Pink became the first K-Pop girl group to perform at Coachella, the biggest music festival in the US. Regarding boy groups, BTS was the first K-pop male group to perform at the American Music Awards with their song DNA. However, "Gangnam Style" became the first YouTube video to exceed 1 billion views which generated the singer $8.8 million during 2012.

PSY bought a two-bedroom condo on Wilshire Boulevard in the heart of Los Angeles. The apartment has 2,700 square feet of living space. The building was constructed in 1989, but the house looks newer than that, especially the big and luxurious bathroom. The kitchen is very sophisticated as well with beautiful wood furnishings. Also, there are floor-to-ceiling windows in several rooms. The building also comes with some nice perks, including a pool and concierge service Business Insider reports.

Coffee Shop in Seoul -$50 million

Coffee is considered a strong element in Korean culture, so much that it is common for celebrities to own restaurants and cafés. Even the entertainment companies themselves have their coffee shops. The amount of fanaticism toward this custom makes Seoul's coffee per capita greater than Seattle or San Francisco.

It is an estimate of 49,600 coffee shops in South Korea and 17,000 coffee shops in Seoul according to Host Fiera Milano. The name of PSY's coffee place is Takeout Drawing, an independent coffee shop and art gallery in Seoul's Itaewon district. The musician is the owner of the $50 million building in which the café has operated for more than a decade.

Hyundai Equus -$90.000

In 2012, Hyundai partnered with Psy, giving him a Hyundai Equus luxury sedan. Back then, Hyundai posted on their Facebook page a picture of PSY with the car with the caption "We caught up with K-Pop sensation PSY blowing up the Sway-o-meter in his mega-luxe Equus. How do you roll 'Gangnam Style?'".

Launched in 1999, the Hyundai Equus is the largest and most expensive model in the Hyundai lineup. "Gangnam Style's" music video features a Mercedes SLK 200 which costs $67,990. Meanwhile, the bulletproof Equus is not for sale and is made exclusively for chosen celebrities such as PSY and the former Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon.

"Gangnam Style" put the spotlight on Gangnam, the most affluent district in Seoul. For most Koreans, owning a house there means that they have a lot of money. Gangnam has the most expensive real estate in the country since the average apartment in the area costs about $716,00 or around P29 million ABS CBN reports.

No wonder why PSY is one of the celebrities who were rich before they were famous. As he hails from the wealthiest district in Korea, kind of like the Beverly Hills of South Korea. Despite his hit song being released in 2012, he made his debut on National Television in the year 2000.

PSY married his wife Yoo Hye-Yeon after three and a half years of dating in 2006. At that time, she was a student at Yonsei University as a solo major. P Nation is a record label and entertainment agency. It was founded on January 24 of 2019 by the singer and producer PSY. Becoming The New Representative of Hyuna's music career - $48 million

Hyuna is a South Korean singer and rapper under P Nation. She was the most popular member of the girl group 4minute and became highly recognized after her debut solo album Bubble Pop!, which was released on July 5 of 2011. Hyuna has an estimated net worth of $48 million in 2019, according to Celebs Trending Now. Most of her earnings come from performances and sales of her songs and albums. She is now 27 years old.

Hyuna graduated from the Korea High School of Music and Arts and her first group was called Wonder Girls. PSY made a special guest appearance in her music video for her song "Ice Cream" in 2012.

Nowadays she is a successful rapper with a foreign style that has been well received in the Korean music industry. Jessi is 30 years old and her music video of her song "Down" achieved 10 million views on YouTube. Her most recent single is "Who Dat B."

Building in Sinsa-dong in Seoul - $4.4 million

PSY bought a building in Sinsa-dong, Seoul for 5 billion won in march of 2017. The five-story building with a basement has a total floor area of 638.51 square meters and sits on a 246.7 square-meters. The global singer is still producing new music featuring other talented artists as well. Between the curious facts of the artist, his biggest musical influence is Freddie Mercury from Queen and is one of the few international celebrities that have received the acclaimed Diamond Play Button from YouTube. The recognition was given to PSY because he surpassed 10 million subscribers on his channel, becoming the first Asian artist to accomplish the feat.
