Britney Spears’ Ex Kevin Federline Wants More Child Support Cash

Britney Spear’s ex-husband Kevin Federline is requesting an increase in child support!

It looks like Spears may have to fork over more cash to ex Federline for child support. According to E! News, Kevin Federline is currently being represented by top celebrity divorce attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, in hopes of winning his case.

With the help from Kaplan, Federline is hoping to reopen the existing child support order from the time Spears and Federline were filing for divorce back in 2007. Spears and Federline were married from 2004 to 2007 and share two sons together, Sean and Jayden Federline.

The couples marriage and split made headlines in every major publication and was all people could talk about. Over a decade later, Federline is insisting on re-opening the case to get more of a bang for his buck.

“Kevin is trying to voluntarily revisit a modification of the existing child support number, given that the kids are older and the financial circumstances of the parties are significantly different than when the child support was originally resolved,” a source from E! News shared.

The news of Federline's’ plans come close to Spears' announcement of expanding her “Piece of Me” tour to select cities across North America, Europe, and the U.K later this year. The “Gimme More” singer has just finished her Las Vegas residency of three years at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which was one of the best selling residencies to date. Seems as if Federline is trying to get more out of Spears seeing how successful she has been!

In June last year, Federline, who is a working DJ, opened up to Bravo’s Personal Space about co-parenting with his exes. “You fall into your routine and it’s really easy now,” he explained. “It wasn’t always easy, but it’s a lot easier now.” Co-parenting is never easy, so we’re glad Kevin and Britney have made co-parenting an easy task, however, things might not continue being as easy now that Federline is insisting on getting more money from Spears.

Whatever the outcome, we’re certain this won’t put the slightest dent in Spears' bank accounts, and of course, the money would be going towards children they both share.
