Britney Spears is spreading the love! The singer is a big fan of Gus Kenworthy and Adam Rippon and the feeling is more than mutual.
The 2018 Winter Olympics are currently in full force in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Olympic athletes do a lot to prepare for their programs from training, getting plenty of sleep and getting inspiration from pop icon, Britney Spears, at least in the case of skier Gus Kenworthy and figure skater Adam Rippon.
The “Oops I Did It Again” singer took the time to wish the two Team USA athletes luck before their appearance at the Winter Games this past Sunday. “Gimme gimme more on the slopes today!!” Spears tweeted at Kenworthy, hours before his Slopestyle competition where he defended his slopestyle silver medal he won in Sochi.

His response was nothing short of hilarious; the skier was absolutely stunned to see a tweet from Spears herself and couldn’t contain his excitement. “I’m LITERALLY dead now but I’m gonna go that extra mile for you, Britney” Kenworthy replied.
Spears didn’t stop the love there! She continued to reach out to skater Adam Rippon, who is the first openly gay American athlete to compete at the Winter Olympics. “I just wanted to let you know that I am a fan… Keep making us all smile at the Winter Olympics and good luck today,” Spears said before Rippon’s free skate.
Rippon’s responded immediately thanking the singer for her support and sending his love back. “I could feel you on the ice with me,” Rippon wrote back. Check out some shots of the two’s exchange down below!
Spears isn’t the only one showing love for the two Olympians. Reese Witherspoon and Sally Field, who tried setting Rippon up with her son Sam, have sent their love and luck to the athletes. We’re sure Britney’s words of encouragement gave Kenworthy and Rippon an extra boost of motivation to win a medal and place on the podium.
