The past decade has brought a whole new meaning to the word streaming. Gone are the days of listening to music on CD's and cassettes, with pretty much all media now available to be streamed online.

Apple Music and Spotify are two of the biggest streaming networks today. Apple Music boasts 60 million users worldwide, while Spotify has at least 100 million users. Podcasts can be streamed from both of these powerhouses, and the selection is vast.

More and more, celebrities are taking to the mic to discuss anything from world events to dating, to what's going on in the LGBTQ+ community. Some of the best hosts are already well-known actors, musicians, and comedians. Here are some of the best celebrity podcasts available today.

Dax Shepard: Armchair Expert

Dax Shepard has established himself as one of the best comedic actors of the last decade. Known for his career-shaping role as Crosby Braverman in the dramatic family television series, Parenthood, he has also appeared in dozens of movies and several other TV shows.

Married to Kristen Bell, Dax started recording his podcast, Armchair Expert, in the family's attic in 2018. The show features interviews with celebrities, musicians, and comedians, and deals with the ins and outs of the human experience. Joe Rogan: The Joe Rogan Experience

As far as celebrity podcasts go, The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most listened to. With millions of listeners per episode, and about 20 million downloads a month, Joe Rogan makes an estimated $10 million per year from the podcast alone.

Broaching taboo and controversial topics, Joe is fearless when it comes to questioning authority and the status quo. In many ways, his rebellious attitude and refusal to accept standardized politics, economics, or world views is what has gained him such a faithful following.

Bill Burr: The Monday Morning Podcast

Bill Burr is one of the most renowned actors and comedians of our generation. Known for playing the role of Patrick Kuby on Breaking Bad, he also cofounded the All Things Comedy. Since 2007, he has hosted a bi-weekly podcast called The Monday Morning Podcast.

Offering candid commentary about his life, current events, sports, pop culture, and more, the podcast has an estimated 100,000 listeners per episode. Like other popular celebrity podcasts, he hosts invited guests regularly.

Chris D'Elia: Congratulations with Chris D'Elia

Chris D'Elia is a stand-up comedian, writer, sitcom actor, and podcast host. After gaining quite a bit of exposure from his roles on the shows Whitney, and Undateable, he launched his podcast, Congratulations with Chris D'Elia, in February, 2017.

With over 2 million followers on Vine, he is one of the best-loved entertainers in the podcast world. Regularly included in Top 20 charts for best podcasts, Congratulations offers laugh out loud inducing commentary and a good deal of current events and news.

Anna Faris: Anna Faris is Unqualified

Anna Faris is one of the funniest comedians of our time. Having appeared in over 25 major films, she is most known for her roles in the Scary Movie franchise. In November, 2015, she launched an advice-centered podcast called Unqualified.

Marc Maron: WTF with Marc Maron

WTF with Marc Maron is one of the most entertaining celebrity podcasts on air. Started by comedian Marc Maron in 2009, the episodes were originally recorded in his basement, but the operation has since been moved to a studio.

Marc hosts invited celebrity guests every week, and the conversations range from light-hearted, to very deep. WTF was named the #1 podcast in the Rolling Stones'  2004 version of The 20 Best Comedy Podcasts Right Now. To date, close to 1,100 episodes of WTF have aired.

Jenna Fischer: Office Ladies

Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey are best known for their roles as Pam and Angela on The Office. The hilarious duo were costars, and are real-life best friends. Launched in October, 2019, Office Ladies  has a really funny concept for die-hard fans of the show.

Angela Yee: The Breakfast Club

RuPaul: What's The Tee?

The world's best-loved drag queen, RuPaul Andre Charles, has been a well-known staple in Hollywood since the 90's. As a performer, actor, model, singer, and television personality, he has worn many hats. Most recently, he has launched a successful podcast called What's The Tee?, alongside co-host Michelle Visage.
