Tom Holland was at the Avengers: Infinity War premiere on Tuesday where he revealed the weirdest part of filming the movie.
And part of it was how little he could go to the bathroom.
Speaking to E! News outside of the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, actor Tom Holland could barely contain his excitement. "I'm just so excited to see this movie," he said. "I've been talking about the movie for like a month now and know nothing about it. I'm excited to see if what I was saying was just complete and utter bulls--t or in the right ballpark!"
Holland, who just wrapped a world tour promoting the upcoming film, also had a few interesting tidbits to share about the movie’s filming. While it was certainly fun to see all these Hollywood A-listers dressed up as superheroes, some of them were a little restricted by their attire--including Holland himself.
"Once you're in it, you're in it. They're the kind of costumes you can't take off. When we take our breaks, we're sitting in the green room drinking coffee. Some of us are trying to go to the bathroom. It's crazy," he said. "[With] my suit, there is no going to the bathroom! You have to know when you go in it that you have at least three hours in the tank."
Although it was surely strange to see Mark Ruffalo in a mocap suit and try to imagine him as The Hulk, Holland only had rave reviews for the cast’s chemistry. "To be 21 and to get the chance to work with people like this is amazing," he said. "It was just a real whirlwind to walk on set and see 30 of your favorite actors dressed up like superheroes, just having a coffee and hanging out. It was so bizarre!"
Holland in particular had kind words for Chris Pratt, who worked with Holland for the first time in the crossover movie. "He's such a funny guy," he praised, "and he brings such a great energy to set."
Avengers: Infinity War swings into theatres this Friday.
