Listen, we know how busy celebrity moms can be. Heck, we know how busy everyday moms can be. So when you add traveling around the world for work, or constantly being on set for a reality show or a movie, it only makes sense that these super moms would reach out and ask for professional help to raise their children. While some of them have pretty bizarre rules for a nanny (can you guess which one wants their nanny to track how many times their children blink?), none of have denied their need for a nanny to help do some of the heavy lifting.

In fact, it’s pretty much a trend in Hollywood to have one nanny per child, so that each child feels the same level of affection and love (but if you ask some of these moms, not too much affection – they’re not trying to get replaced here). Still, we can’t help but salute and appreciate these moms who want nothing but the best for their children and realize that they need a little help considering their super busy hectic schedules. Take a look at 25 moms who have no problem admitting they need nannies to help raise their children.

Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian might be making a huge deal about spending time with her children on this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. But even the self-proclaimed super mom needs the help of nannies with her and Scott Disick’s three children: Penelope, Mason, and Reign. For the most part, it seems like she especially uses nannies when she’s traveling with her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Younes Bendjima, or even her sisters. Hey, even super moms need a break every once in a while.

Zoe Saldana

Avatar actress Zoe Saldana has admitted more times than not that nannies are on-hand to assist her with her three sons – which includes twins. Considering she is becoming quite the iconic actress with roles in major ongoing franchises, she thought it was best to hire one nanny for each child—making sure they all get the hands-on care they need. Still, it’s not too difficult for them to see their mom as she allows them to visit her on set whenever they want.

Mariah Carey

Is it bad to say it’s no surprise Mariah Carey has a team of nannies? While she has admitted to having nannies to help raise her twins, Moroccan and Monroe, she said they can only get so close. “I fire nannies like this… if they try to make themselves more important in the baby’s mind than me,” Mariah said in an interview once, indicating she doesn’t hesitate to let a nanny go. Still, she doesn’t hesitate to have her nannies on-call at any time of the day and work for nearly 100 hours a week.

Britney Spears

Now that Britney Spears is back in the spotlight, she also has dished on having nannies for her two boys. And she has an interesting requirement for them. Apparently, she likes her nannies to be younger, so she can eventually befriend them. Still, one ex-nanny spilled the beans that Britney would often only hold her kids for a few minutes before she handed them back to her. She typically has 1-2 nannies looking after her boys, along with assistants and bodyguards.

Charlize Theron

While Charlize Theron has made it clear she doesn’t depend on a huge staff to help her with her two children she adopted, she did admit she needs one nanny and her mom to assist her. She also, like many everyday people, reaches out to her friends and family members for help, a group she calls her “village.” Still, there’s certainly nothing wrong with hiring a nanny if that’s needed for Charlize to be her best self for her children.

Jennifer Lopez

Singer, dancer, and actress Jennifer Lopez has had no shame when it comes to admitting she needs a nanny to help look over her twins Emme and Max. Considering her ex-husband their father, Marc Anthony, is also a legend in his own right, it’s no surprise they rely on nannies for a lot of the heavy lifting. In fact, Jennifer actually admitted once that her children often have to talk to her assistants to get on her calendar for some good old quality time. She joked and said her son told her he wanted to schedule a picnic with her after he recognized her hard work. And there you have it.

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie has six children and one nanny for each child. She once said she even brought in her brother to help out, but ultimately had to fire him because it was clearly too stressful for him. Meanwhile, it looks like her six nannies are still going strong, even throughout her split with Brad Pitt. But one insider might have spilled the tea and when they said Angelina doesn’t really spend too much of her free time with her kids since they each have a nanny.

Beyonce

Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z brought on eight nannies (yes, eight!) shortly after they had their twins a little more than a year ago. Bringing their total number of children to three, Beyonce is said to pay her nannies $100,000 a year. Word is they have eight nannies so that each child could have roughly three nannies to themselves. They also brought nannies with them for their On The Run II world tour so they could all travel together as a family. We have to admit that’s pretty awesome.

Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner’s former nanny faux pas hasn’t stopped her from hiring another one. We’re not going to get into the whole nannygate situation that involved her then husband, Ben Affleck, getting way too close with the nanny. Interestingly enough, Jennifer said the two were already separated and therefore hasn’t prevented her decision to get another nanny for their three children; especially now that she’s a single mom whose career is still at a major peak. We’re certainly not mad at that Jenny.

Halle Berry

While Halle Berry has hired nannies for her two children, she has made it clear that they aren’t supposed to get too affectionate with them. Even though she’s very private, what’s known is that she relies on nannies for her growing children. Still, they can’t get too close considering one rule is that they aren’t allowed to hug or kiss the children. Apparently, she doesn’t want their affection to go too far. She’s gotten mixed reactions for this one but hey, it’s her prerogative, right?

Miranda Kerr

Model Miranda Kerr has made it clear she wasn’t too scared to ask for a nanny’s help to assist with her and actor Orlando Bloom’s son, Flynn. She even has her nanny go with Flynn when he’s spending time with Orlando. “Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great dad. It’s just me being a protective mother and wanting to make sure all his needs are met. I want to keep Flynn’s routine.” Fortunately, she also said Orlando is a fan of having a nanny help out as well.

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba has not only admitted she has a nanny to care after her three children (Honor, Haven, and Hayes), but that she absolutely adores her nanny. She once gave her a special message on Instagram for all of her fans and followers to know about #NannyConnie. She gave Nanny Connie credit for teaching her how to do what seems like simple things like bathing her children. And also taught Jessica how to take care of herself. Talk about a dream nanny.

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum pretty much has an army of nannies with her, especially when she goes on vacation. They’ve been spotted doing tasks like pushing the stroller or even carrying the baby’s bags. She is said to have three nannies for her kids. And they seem to be living the life with her. They get to travel with her whether it’s a work trip or one for pleasure. But their connection is clearly beyond work. She was once spotted saving two of her nannies after a riptide almost pulled them out along with her son, Henry.

Julia Roberts

While the amazingly talented Julia Roberts pressed pause on her career to get closer to her children, even she still has a nanny. Yes, her acting gigs were briefly halted but her career as a whole still continues. Come on, she’s Julia Roberts for goodness sake. Interestingly enough, she revealed that back in the day when she was working super hard and her kids were younger, she asked her nannies to wear wigs, so they would look like her and hopefully make the kids think she was still there.

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker not only admits to needing nannies for her three children, but she has very particular regulations and policies for them to follow when they’re in their nannies care. From step-by-step directions on how to give the children eye drops to, get this, how many times the children should be blinking within a certain timeframe, to say Sarah depends on her nannies might be a major underestimation. But, we can only assume that she would be this particular even if she wasn’t an A-list celebrity.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is another celebrity who has followed the nanny for each child trend. Kardashian, who has three children (North, Saint, and Chicago) with her husband, Kanye West, definitely relies on nannies to help her. After all, she has her own beauty line, is on reality TV, and a host of other gigs. Still, unlike some celebrities, Kim has made it clear she not only keeps her nannies’ private, but also spends lots of time with her children and husband.

Gwen Stefani

Interestingly enough, Gwen Stefani is kind of in the same boat as Jennifer Garner considering her marriage also ended after her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, got too close with their former nanny. Still, Gwen hasn’t lost hope and once interviewed 67 nannies before she landed on the right one. Gwen said she can admit her weakness as far as being unorganized and a procrastinator. She said becoming a mother helped her realize she had to change and asked nannies to come in and help with her three children.

Megan Fox

Actress Megan Fox might have made it clear once that she plans on actually raising her own children and not relying on nannies and a staff to do it for her (a statement she got quite a bit of backlash for), but she still has had to admit she needs nannies herself. She hired a night nurse to take care of her oldest child when he was just two weeks old. Apparently, she told her husband, actor Brian Austin Greene, that it was either that or a split because she still wanted to be able to spend time with him after they became parents.

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson definitely doesn’t mind admitting she has nannies for her children. Interestingly enough, in true Jessica fashion, she might have taken notes from other celebrities and set a rule that they can’t be more attractive than her. While she isn’t the only famous person to establish that rule, it’s interesting that she set it amid other celebrity guys being blasted for getting extra cozy and inappropriate with their family’s now former nannies. So, we really can’t fault her for being extra careful.

Chrissy Teigen

We’re sorry, but we think it would be super fun to be one of Chrissy Teigen’s nannies. The model and TV host said one of the main reasons she has a nanny for her and her husband John Legend’s two children is so they can spend alone time together. “Not a lot of people can go on dates, can have a sitter, have someone take care of their baby,” Teigen once said. “Me time is important, but not everybody can do it.”

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner might be a new mom but it didn’t take long for her to realize a nanny would definitely help her with her daughter, Stormi. In fact, she actually said she had four nannies help her with the baby, who Kylie and her longtime boyfriend Travis Scott welcomed back in February. But it’s not too many cooks in the kitchen when it comes to the seemingly overwhelming number of nannies. Kylie made it clear she keeps them on a tight schedule.

Christina Aguilera

Singer and TV host, Christina Aguilera, might be famous, but she actually relies on a nanny and her mom to do a bunch of the heavy lifting for her and her ex-husband’s children. She also depends on his family to help out whenever possible. Even though she has no problem depending on her family and whopping one nanny, word is she will hardly venture out from there because of the issues she had herself as a child. Still, the saying, “it takes a village” still rings true.

Kate Gosselin

While Kate Gosselin has clearly relied on nannies a ton, word is because of her diva attitude, she can’t keep one to save her life. Word is she was way too demanding and impatient with her staff. One ex-nanny even spoke out and said Kate would never hesitate to insult her. They added that they were also given the same rules as the children, such as having to walk lightly in the home so they wouldn’t disturb Kate. Very interesting.

Madonna

Call us old-school, but we really wouldn’t expect anything less than for Madonna to have a nanny for her children. Still, while she’s able to have peace of mind thanks to a handful of handpicked caretakers for her children, Madonna is not playing around when it comes to what she expects from her nannies. Of course, they have regular rules like having to be on-call at any given moment. But one of the rarer rules is that she wants all of her nannies to speak French, to make sure her children are fluent in the language. Ok, Madonna!

Gisele Bundchen

Super model Gisele Bundchen, who is married to NFL superstar Tom Brady, is another celebrity who relies on their mother to step in as nanny. Bundchen’s mother was given the title even before their child was born, when Bundchen was pregnant with Benjamin. Still, Bundchen’s mom didn’t go anywhere after the couple welcomed the child, giving the two an excuse to postpone hiring an official nanny for as long as possible. Hey, moms and grandmas as nannies are pretty much the best thing ever.
