It's been a whirlwind year for many celebrity couples whether that means breaking up or falling in love. There have been a lot of celebrity breakups over the past year that devastated us. Couple that we never thought would breakup ended their relationships and moved on. It’s been a hard year all around. But on the plus side, we have seen a lot of couples get together this year which has been pretty exciting. We love hearing about new relationships, especially if it has something to do with our favorite stars.

Some of the rumors we've been wondering about have come true and we are now seeing these celebs make their relationship public. It’s a fresh year for some people and it will be interesting to see how these new relationships fair. They could either be the next wedding proposal or they could be over by Christmas. Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger

The question of the day is how the heck did these two meet? A source told People magazine that "Maria helped set them up." It looks to be serious, though, as we saw Chris Pratt dining with her family including father Arnold Schwarzenegger in Arnold’s Instagram story. Plus, there were pictures of them posted hanging out with his son. So, she's met his son and he's met Daddy, so it sounds pretty serious to us.

Noah Cyrus and Lil Xan

It may seem like an unusual pairing and Billy Ray Cyrus must never get any sleep when it comes to his daughters, but it looks like Noah Cyrus is off the market. Noah Cyrus is still pretty young at 18 and she’s out trying to have the same kind of career that her sister has. “It’s new,” a source told PEOPLE of the relationship. Only time will tell if these two are meant to be, but she’s got plenty of time to meet lots of people.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson

Ariana Grande ended a relationship this year and started up another one right away. She met Pete Davidson in 2016 when she hosted SNL, so she's known him for a while now. The two have been dating now since May and seem to be pretty happy. They were both in long-term relationships this year and broke up with their partners at around the same time. It seems to be going well so far.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra

It must have been love at first sight for these two because they just started seeing each other this year and they are already engaged to be married. The two had only been linked together for two months when he proposed to her on her 36th birthday. Some people may be wondering if they are rushing things, but the couple doesn’t seem to care. An insider told Us Weekly that Priyanka was "thrilled," adding that the pair "want to get married very soon."

Emma Watson and Chord Overstreet

These two couldn’t be cuter together and they always seem to be holding hands. Emma Watson is determined to keep things low key between them in the media, so don’t expect to see her gushing. “I want to be consistent: I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways,” Emma told Vanity Fair.

It’s country music love between these two stars. They made their relationship Instagram official recently and we couldn’t be happier for them. They posted this snuggly picture of the two of them on July 18 as an announcement of their relationship. They definitely look great together. The two have been flirting on social media for a while, so we knew it was only a matter of time before they made things official.

These two are generally all about the PDA and they have no problem gushing about each other. Madelaine even allowed her man to do her makeup on YouTube. She is one celebrity that has no problem talking about her love life in the media. “I’m a huge advocate of showing my relationship online because love does exist, and I think it’s so important for our generation to know that love will win. Rose McGowan and Rain Dove

These two went public with their relationship in July of this year. Rain Dove is an activist and a model which is right up McGowan’s alley. Dove identifies as non-binary and has career modelling both men’s and women’s fashion. Dove has a successful career and works with a bunch of brands and multiple outlets. The two have been sharing PDA since July and have almost 20 years between them.

Logan Paul is a controversial YouTube star and Chloe Bennet isn’t afraid to say that she’s happy to be with him. She has stated that he's changed her “life for the better.” A lot of people don’t understand their relationship but Bennet isn’t worried. “He’s kind, creative, funny, vibrantly curious about life, weird all the best ways, a big dork, and he’s one of my best friends,” Bennet wrote. “It doesn’t make sense to a lot of people, but it doesn’t have too. It always amazes us when regular folk end up with famous actors. That’s the case with Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney who is an average Joe. How did these two meet? They've only been together for a couple of months but they were recently seen together in Paris. She can apparently thank her best friend Laura Simpson for setting her up with the director of New York City’s Gladstone 64.

Another star has found love with a civilian. The Riverdale star seemed to have found love with a childhood friend. The two confirmed their love in June and they are so adorable together. She celebrated her 24th birthday recently in the Hamptons and the two have been non-stop cuddling ever since. Victor went on Instagram and made a post for her birthday. “Happy birthday beautiful,” he wrote on one post, captioning the other, “Baby.”

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse

Robert Pattinson certainly hasn’t had the best of luck in relationships, but he’s not giving up. He has been photographed multiple times kissing the model-actress. The two were in London recently and saw Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in Notting Hill. A source told E! News that they are "casually dating" and that "Rob is having fun right now. [He] and Suki have a great time together [but] he isn't looking for anything serious right now," an insider told Us Weekly that they have actually "been dating for months."

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin

These two shocked everyone when photos started popping up this summer of them on vacation together. Then they took it up another level when Baldwin was seen wearing an engagement ring. Since then, they've become public and have announced their official engagement. People’s heads were spinning because Bieber was just seen with Selena Gomez as recently as February and now he was marrying another woman. It’s not a perfect relationship, but Justin wants it. "You got good days and you got bad days," Justin said, "It's not real if it doesn't have any bad days."

Niall Horan and Hailee Steinfeld

These two have been low-key dating since May and they are still going strong. Now that they are showing a little PDA, it’s hard for them to deny the dating rumors. They've been spotted together in Los Angeles. “Niall had his arm around Hailee and they were holding hands,” an onlooker told PEOPLE. “They definitely looked like a couple.” The rumors about the two started back in February when they were spotted dancing together.

Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz

These two started going public with their relationship in March and they've been going strong ever since. Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz comes from Germany and the two even hit the red carpet together in May at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. She doesn’t seem to mind the age difference between them either. “My nose would grow like Pinocchio's if I said that I didn't feel some pressure about aging," she told the magazine. "I can look at photos of when I was 24, and of course, I am going to look different now at 44 and having had four children, but, again, it's about being comfortable with yourself and what you see in the mirror.”

Everyone was sad to hear that Flip or Flop stars Christina El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa broke up but it looks like Christina has moved on to a new romance with the British TV host. It’s hard to believe billionaire Elon Musk connected with Grimes after dating Amber Heard but apparently, they connected over an artificial intelligence joke online. They made their red-carpet debut in May and fans of Grimes are confused by their relationship. The relationship has “sparked criticism from Grimes fans, particularly those who see a conflict with an 'anti-imperialist' artist who once wrote a feminist manifesto dating a multi-billionaire whose company has been accused of intimidating union workers, exploiting foreign workers, anti-gay harassment, racial harassment, creating an environment of harassment described as a 'predator zone,'" wrote The Verge.

Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker

Just months after she split with Anderson East, Miranda Lambert has moved on to a new romance with Turnpike Troubadours singer Evan Felker. They started spending time together earlier this year and these days, they've been showing a lot more PDA. Felker’s wife just filed for divorce in February and there were rumors that Miranda broke up the marriage. In an interview, Lambert stated, “I am who I am. I am honest about being flawed,” she said. “That’s all I can be, you know? I cuss. I drink. I get divorced and get my heart broken. I break hearts.”

These two confirmed their love in April and we have to admit, they look pretty cute together. "Yes, Aaron and I are dating," she told the Associated Press. When she was on The Rachel Ray Show, she couldn’t help but gush all about her new beau. "He's funny. He's very kind. He's thoughtful. He's super smart. And he's really good at football," she said. "And he's tall and he's big and I like that."

These two are gorgeous together and although they were just a rumor at first, they confirmed that they were together in April. Imagine if these two have children, they would be so beautiful. This good-looking couple found each other this year and they couldn’t be happier. He’s a professional athlete and she is Miss Universe 2017 and Tebow is trying to keep things low key for now. "She is a really special girl and I am very lucky and blessed for her coming into my life," he said in a July 14 report. "I am usually very private with these things but I am very thankful."

Iggy Azalea and DeAndre Hopkins

Iggy got herself a football player and she seems pretty happy about it. She was charming during an interview with Y100 Miami when she was asked if she preferred Miami Dolphins or Houston Texans. Considering her new man is part of the Houston Texans, you can imagine her response. “DeAndre Hopkins, are we dating — or what’s the situation?” “Yeah, we’re in a relationship,” Azalea answered, confirming their romance. Hopefully, this is the one for Iggy and she can finally settle down.

Michelle Williams and Phil Elverum

Michelle Williams is the queen of keeping her relationships low key. When she was interviewed by Vanity Fair for her cover story, she not only told them that she was in love with Mount Eerie musician Phil Elverum, but that she had secretly married him as well. How did she manage to keep all that a secret? "I never gave up on love," Michelle told Vanity Fair. She’s definitely made us a believer.
