Gal Gadot took the world by storm for her role in Wonder Woman and everyone fell in love with her and she quickly became Hollywood's new sweetheart. All her roles are action-packed and she's either playing a superhero or playing alongside The Fast and the Furious cast. Since her role in Wonder Woman, Hollywood can't get enough of her and wives might be worried as Gal is also exotic, she was once a model and yes, Gadot even served in the army. No wonder she loves the action roles and what man doesn't like a woman who is strong and knows how to fight her own battles? Another surprising fact is that Gal won Miss Israel at a pageant in 2004 and that's what launched her modelling career. Gadot even studied law which means she's also super smart and Gal is very down to Earth and sweet as she loves to give gifts and she's friendly to everyone. Plus Gadot also has a quirky sense of humour!

Gadot is all grown up now but when she was growing up, she was a tomboy at heart and still is. Even though she's a tomboy, she still knows how to wear dresses for red-carpet events and has a flawless wardrobe! Gadot also does all her own stunts and can handle intensive training. She's always hanging out with her male co-stars Chris Pine and Vin Diesel and she's very close to Pine. Gal is married, but everyone can't get enough of her as she ticks every box of a perfect woman with looks and personality.

Superhero Movie Roles

Gadot has an impressive portfolio of movie roles and the majority of them are superhero - Wonder Woman, Justice League, and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Her outfit in Wonder Woman is a short warrior outfit and you can really see her body shape. Gal's outfit in the Fast and Furious franchise takes her back to her tomboy days as it's simple and in full black. When she's not saving the world and portraying how strong woman is she is playing a super spy's wife in the movie Criminal and she is far from being the damsel in distress in the film instead she knows how to handle herself when need be. Gadot played an undercover federal agent in the movie Keeping Up with the Joneses. In all her movie roles she plays a strong woman and reveals femininity in a new light. Men seem to love their superhero movies and that's Gadot's main expertise.

She Enlisted

Gal is one tough lady that she even served in the army as a combat trainer. She enlisted in the Israel Defence Forces after finishing high school and served for two years. Gal admits to People why she did it,

"Part of being Israeli is to go to the army. All my friends went, my parents went, and my grandparents went.”

Gadot says she is proud of the service she gave her country. “It’s nice in that way that you give back to society. You give back valued time to the country.” Even though she wasn't in battle she still had training. "I did learn to use a weapon in boot camp. But I was never in a situation where I had to use one." It's good that she had that military training since it helped her with her role in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice as Gal said the training for her role reminded her of army training. Well, Gal is one tough cookie and we wouldn't want to mess with her since she knows how to fight.

Successful Model

It gets even better as Gal was a model and still seems to be according to her impressive portfolio at IMG models. After winning Miss Israel Pageant, Maxim was interested and used Gadot to portray how a woman can be feminine and tough in their Women of the Israel Defence Forces magazine feature in 2007. Gadot wore revealing clothes for the shoot but now Gal is more elegant in her shoots as she graces the cover of W, Glamour, Marie Claire, and Vanity Fair. Last year, Gal was featured in W and in the spread, Gadot was wearing stylish black dresses and portraying a businesswoman with a long tan coat and a blazer over a dress. Gadot revealed her classy side in the images and her modelling success highlights how successful Gal is with all her accomplishments. All of her magazine spreads were done in 2017 which means everyone wanted her on their front covers and it reveals how popular Gal became after her role in Wonder Woman.

Natural Beauty

Another reason Gadot is because of her exotic ancestry. She grew up In Tel Aviv, Israel and because of this, she has a unique look in Hollywood. Gal has beauty secrets which she uses to keep radiant and it's very simple. Gal prefers a natural look, therefore, she keeps her makeup light and doesn't really do all that much to enhance her looks.

"The second thing is in my day-to-day life, I like to keep my makeup very light, so what I do is I mix my moisturizer with just a touch of my foundation and I just apply it with my fingers. So easy and natural."

Gadot doesn't even need makeup as her Instagram makeup-free posts show. Her face is fresh-faced and she still looks immaculate! This starlet can keep a fresh look and isn't embarrassed to reveal to the world of how she looks in day to day life and let's be honest she doesn't need to be ashamed.

Gal Is Smart

Gadot is super smart and before entering the acting world, she attended law school in Israel and was studying law and international relations. Gal admits to EOnline that she thought she was too clever for acting. "I'm way too serious and smart to be an actress." In an interview, Gal confesses that before gaining her role as Gisele in the popular Fast and the Furious franchise, Gadot had an acting coach.

"Then I got my first role in an Israeli TV series. I had finished my first year in school, and I decided to stop working toward my degree when I got that project. Then that same Bond casting director casts me as Gisele in Fast & Furious — my first movie."

Gal hired an acting coach after losing the role in the Quantum of Solace Bond film as she became interested in acting. Thank goodness Gadot did that since she's becoming a huge success in Hollywood now!

A Heart Of Gold

Gal also is one of the nicest people in Hollywood according to fans and other celebs. They can't stop gushing about the nice things Gadot has done for them. Kelly Clarkson's daughter was one lucky girl when she received a gift from her hero. Gal gave her a pop vinyl doll of her character and a signed copy of an image from the Wonder Woman blockbuster film. Gadot decided to do this after Clarkson revealed at Variety's Power of Women event how much Wonder Woman means to her daughter. Kelly was so pleased that Gal did this that she posted it on her Instagram and couldn't stop saying thank you. Gadot also supports causes, especially her friend's and displays it on her Instagram so that the public will be aware and will help raise funds like she is doing. She posted this photo and wrote:

"This foundation was established in memory of Ranni Fisher and is dedicated to help children whom are suffering from genetic metabolic diseases. The bracelet is made with a red cotton string that has a small balloon attached filled with inspiration, memory, hope and future."

The non-profit foundation is called Ranni’s Wish foundation and it was founded in support of her friend's daughter who passed away at a very young age.

Her Goofy Side

Not many know this, but when Gal isn't acting and being serious in her movie roles she is laughing and acting goofy at home and with friends.

"I like it when people don't take themselves too seriously and do silly things. I have a goofy sense of humour."

Her Instagram posts are proof of this as she pulls funny faces with her co-stars and friends. Gal also has a comedic side which was evident during an appearance on Saturday Night Live. Gadot acted, as Kendall Jenner and acted out a parody of what Kendall's two spin-off reality shows would be like. Any chance Gadot gets to act goofy she will do it and she isn't embarrassed about this side of her. Gal also loves to crack jokes during interviews especially with co-stars. She and Chris Pine were all the laughs during public appearances and interviews while promoting their movie Wonder Woman. Gal posted a meme on her Insta of the pair giggling and her "flirting" with Pine which was just them fooling around and having a laugh which they love to do.

She's Tough And Does All Her Own Stunts

What makes Gal even more special is the fact she does her own stunts and demands that she must do them. This star is super tough, nothing stops her, not even dangerous stunts. During the filming of her role in the Fast and the Furious movies, she outdid herself with all the stunts. “I want to have gunshots, I want to fly up in the air, on the motorcycle, whatever. I want to do it all, by myself — no stuntwoman.” During the filming of Wonder Woman, she was five months pregnant and it still didn't stop her from doing her stunts as Gal would run and perform some fighting choreography Director Patty Jenkins said,

“There are so many things we asked her to do: Now do it on one foot. Now shout while you’re doing it. Now it’s raining in the freezing cold and you’ve lost your voice, go. Every day it was a hilarious gauntlet and she would do it.”

What man doesn't like a woman who wants to do things that are tough and Gadot fits the whole package as she loves doing action-packed things.

Her Relationship With Her Costars

Gal is friendly with her male co-stars and she often hangs out with them, but the co-star who she really hit it off with is Pine and during every public appearance, they are always laughing and Chris can't stop gushing about Gadot.

"Gal is awesome. I had one primary job in this film and that was to fall in love with her — which is not a difficult task. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I have such a soft spot for her."

The two were romantically linked in Wonder Woman, that's why they had to act in love. Although, Pine's admiration reveals how much everyone loves her especially her male co-stars! Even though they look super cosy when together, Chris admits that they're just very good friends. "Gal is my pal. We goofed around and had a good time." Besides Chris, Gadot was seen with Vin Diesel on his Instagram looking very close, it appears they had friendly visits after filming.

A Fashion Icon

This leading lady knows how to dress impeccably for every occasion. From elegant to simple and eye dropping, Gal is stylish and she is always spotted looking good. During red-carpet events, Gadot looks stunning in black stylish dresses which reveal her body shape and all her dresses reveal her high-class style! Gal prefers a casual street style which mostly includes denim skinny jeans, a plaid shirt, and sneakers. The outfit choice that shows her edgy tough girl image is the leather jacket and even when going plain, Gadot knows how to impress. When Gal does want a more chic style while out and about, she goes for a classic white dress and trench coat. Her hair is sleeked back, and she is wearing animal-print sunglasses and high heels. Gadot knows how to match her attire and always steps out to impress, especially when she has interviews.

Gadot Won Miss Israel

Everyone was even enthralled with Gal when she was 18 since she won Miss Israel Pageant. Gadot didn't even want to do it but it was because of her mother.

"I was 18, I just graduated high school and I had some time in between going to the army."

Gal can't believe that she even got in. "I got in and I never thought I would win and then I won." During the pageant, Gadot had to wear ballroom gowns and swimsuits. After her big win, the Miss Universe wanted her, and Gal did it but sabotaged it as she didn't want to be chosen again. "So, I came down late to all the rehearsals and I wasn't wearing the right evening gowns for breakfast." Even though she did everything to leave, Gadot still enjoyed it and admitted she just "never wanted to win." No wonder Gal has an amazing style as she learned it during her former Miss pageant days!

A Tomboy During Her Childhood

Gal confessed to an interview in Rolling Stones that while growing up she was a tomboy instead of watching TV."There was no TV-watching. It was always, 'take a ball and go play.'" Which suited her just fine.

"In general, I was a good girl, a good student, a pleaser, and I was a tomboy. Always with wounds and scratches on my knees."

It explains the action movie roles she always decides to play! Also, her close friendship with her male co-stars. It appears they are so close because she doesn't mind male things and of course she does her own stunts. Chris is impressed with her. "She had a great combination of qualities.” Gadot is still a tomboy as she still prefers her comfort. "Now I love fashion and beautiful things. But I like to be comfortable. You won't find me walking around in high heels unless I'm going out."

Gadot Can Handle Gruelling Training For Movies

During the filming of Wonder Woman, Gal had to undergo intensive training and she claims it was hard.

“It was intense, and it was very tiring. It was full-blown every day, six or seven hours a day for six months.”

Gadot also had to do weapon training which she confessed she enjoyed the most because of her weapon training. Although Gal states that it's different to real combat fighting. “I was a dancer for 12 years and so learning the fight choreography reminded me a lot of dancing. I enjoyed that.” Gadot had to do a number of training exercises for six hours every day. "I did two-hour gym work, two-hour fight choreography, and two-hour horseback riding. Which is super hard.” Gal even had to eat healthily and her diet consisted of green juice and lots of fruit and vegetables.

She Owns A Hotel With Her Husband

Gadot has even become a savvy businesswoman by owning a hotel with her hubby, Yaron Varsano. The couple bought the hotel in Neve Tzedek in Tel Aviv, Israel and named it The Varsano Hotel. Gadot admitted to why they bought it: "After I shot Fast Four, my husband Yaron and I started travelling back and forth from Israel and the U.S., which was hard. We found ourselves staying in hotels all the time." Gal said in the interview that they wanted to feel at home and then inspiration struck.

"We discovered these apartments within a hotel in Los Angeles. It became the inspiration for Yaron's hotel, The Varsano."

Gadot even admits that she's very career driven, and that statement is very true since Gal owns a hotel, is an actress, and still makes time for magazine modelling.

Gal Is A Role Model

Ever since her iconic role in the Wonder Woman film, everyone wants to be like Gal since the character she plays is so strong and inspiring. Gadot realizes what this role has done for her and she embraces it.

“This is so important that finally, we are going to have a strong female figure, not only for girls, but also for boys. People talk about women empowerment, but you can’t empower without educating."

Gal hopes that she is doing a job as being a role model and she wants to be one, but Gadot will rather have everyone look up to the character she played. "Of course, this movie is much bigger than any one person. It’s not about me at all, I’m just a vessel.” Gal even got emotional when she realized how powerful her role was, “It was the first time for me — as a woman, a girl, a female — that I saw an image of strong women that are beautiful and confident and can take care of themselves.”
