There are some celebrities in Hollywood who are incredibly humble and hard-working. They have delivered some of the most memorable performances or albums as of recent note, but have moments where it seems like the world doesn't appreciate them enough.

Don't be surprised if some of the names that fall on our underrated side of our list are celebrities whose careers will only continue to grow in the foreseeable future. But unfortunately for every celebrity that people seem to love, there are some that basically force their way into the spotlight.

They're obnoxious, they often brag about their wealth (despite often exhibiting poor moneymaking skills) and will seemingly do anything they can to prolong their time in the spotlight, and that we're sure you wish would have long gone out. It's great to be your own biggest fan, but at times the obnoxious of our list may make you wonder how anyone is a fan of them.

These are the 10 Celebs Who Are Underrated (And 10 Who Think They're All That).

Underrated - Charlie Day

There aren't many television shows out there that are funnier than It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. And while there are plenty of talented people involved, you don't start listing them off for long before getting to Charlie Day.

Day's talents are present both in front of and behind the camera. He recently announced in an interview with Screen Rant that he's working on the 13th season of the show.

The knock on Day comes from some of his lesser movies, including Fist Fight and the disappointing Horrible Bosses 2. But he may get a chance to punch back with his upcoming role in Pacific Rim Uprising. Either way, whether a movie is terrible or not, or even if one episode isn't as great as the others, he always manages to have you clutching your stomach in laughter, wiping tears from your eyes.

All That - Farrah Abraham

Farrah Abraham is incredibly confident in who she is as a person. But you may also be confident in your belief that she's one of the most annoying celebrities in Hollywood. After rising to fame on Teen Mom, Farrah later found herself leaving the show after filming the type of movie that you wouldn't see up for Academy Awards (if you know what we mean). She's even had designs made of her private parts and sold as a toy.

Abraham has battled through rehab, come out seemingly partying more than ever, and does all of this while apparently raising her daughter. She seems to think she is awesome and exudes endless appeal to people. You may have a very different opinion on her. It is definitely not how a mother should be acting.

Underrated - Sza

There is no question that one of the newest musicians in the industry, Sza, has a passionate following online. After Sza came up empty-handed in her quest to win Best New Artist at this past year Grammy show, people were very open in their displeasure that the award went to Alessia Cara.

And while perhaps that means Cara would be earning of this spot in their eyes, as they'd definitely place Sza on a higher pedestal, we'll still give some extra attention to the disappointed Sza.

Sza had several singles released from her 2017 debut album "Ctrl" but perhaps none more popular than "The Weekend" which got as high as #29 on the Billboard Hot 100. Hopefully, she will continue to rise on a high level, and snag some awards for herself, which would be sure to make her feel good.

All That - Danielle Bregoli

It's sad to say that Danielle Bregoli is a celebrity. But with over 10 million followers on Instagram and an active music career, it's undeniable at this point. If you don't recognize her by the name Danielle Bregoli, you may better remember her as the "Cash me outside, how 'bout dat'?" phrase that she uttered while appearing on Dr. Phil due her troubled ways. She has become a meme, she has even stared on YouTube channels just to throw a scripted act with her yelling. Honestly, she is kind of a mess.

One thing that may not help reign in her behavior is the fact that she is also going on tour in April. She's also elected to go by the stage name Bhad Bhabi, and yes, that's seriously pronounced like Bad Baby...

You can't make this stuff up.

Underrated - Tessa Thompson

Tessa Thompson's career began with the hilarious comedy Dear White People. But that's far from the only place people know her from. Her role in Thor: Ragnarok was one of the many reasons as to why the movie was as successful as it was.

The only problem with Thompson is that she got swallowed up by all the other stars. She may not be underrated for much longer though as she is also one of the leads in a recent Netflix film Annihilation. If television shows are more up your game than movies are, you're also doing yourself a disservice if Westworld isn't already in your rotation which presents another opportunity for Tessa Thompson to wow you.

She is an activist, a leader for women, someone beautiful for everyone to look at. She is a brilliant actress, and between her raspy voice and beautiful looks, she is a powerhouse in Hollywood.

All That - Steve Harvey

Steve Harvey has had a long history of appearing on television talk shows. Something that will continue with his upcoming show, titled Steve. But if you're working on the show, you better not go up and approach Harvey.

In a leaked memo, former staffers were strictly instructed not to talk to Harvey unless talked to first, never to go into his office without scheduling an appointment, and if you do, his security guards will make you leave.

You don't like dealing with annoying "coworkers" Steve? Welcome to being an adult with a job. Steve's demands made him seem like a diva, something that didn't go away when he didn't back down from the comments saying he doesn't like people popping in to say hello or ask for autographs.

Underrated - Charli XCX

Charli XCX has been attempting to make her big break into the music industry since 2010. Her best attempt may have come when she has teamed up with Iggy Azalea to bring the world "Fancy".

She's continued to work hard though and some of her subsequent work such as the songs "Break the Rules" and "Doing It" both hit the top 10 in Australia and Germany. Her last album, Pop 2, didn't blow up the charts or record sales but still scored 84/100 at MetaCritic and is perhaps proof that if more people would give her stuff a try, they may come away with a significant level of appreciation for what she can create.

All That - 50 Cent

You don't exactly come off as the most humble person in the world if you constantly seem to splash photos of yourself online holding stacks of cash. Although, it sure would be nice to have a lot of cash just to do that. Something that 50 Cent seems to do on a regular basis. Which may make you lose even more respect for him when you realize he has a terrible relationship with his son.

50 Cent has admitted in the past that some of the cash he uses in the photos isn't real money, which makes the whole thing even more embarrassing. While we're sure there have been plenty of moments where 50 Cent has been flush with cash, it still wouldn't be appropriate to flaunt it in the way he does. And let's be honest, 2018 isn't exactly looking like it's going to be his peak year.

Underrated - Tatiana Maslany

Orphan Black is one of the most interesting television shows to come along. It's given the actress Tatiana Maslany an amazing opportunity to take on the personalities of various different characters.

When talking on Seth Meyers Maslany joked she wouldn't have minded if some of the voices/characters would be written off, but she still keeps killing it!

To her credit, she has taken home a Primetime Emmy Award for her role, but she still deserves plenty of praise and we're more than happy to give it her way. After all, it is rare for someone to take on a role such as this, and the show literally rests entirely on her shoulders. She holds it gracefully.

One of her last films, Stronger, which starred Jake Gyllenhaal also scored 92% with critics but earned less than $10 million at the box office which should at least reaffirm the talent is there.

All That - Shia LaBeouf

Shia LaBeouf has a history of having problems with substances. This includes allegedly being intoxicated and berating his co-star Mia Wasikowska on the set of the film Lawless because drinking was part of his character.

He's been arrested on multiple occasions, none worse than the incident back in 2017. After being taken into custody for public drunkenness, obstruction and disorderly conduct, LaBeouf was caught on camera telling the police officer that he'll go to hell because he's black.

LaBeouf very recently came out in an interview with Esquire to admit he messed up. As a result of the situation, he spent 10 weeks in rehab. At least he knew what he did was wrong, or he completely lied and just wanted sympathy. Which, let us be real; in Hollywood that would not be too far from the truth.

Let's hope all of this will take the seemingly huge chip that he has on his shoulder that comes out when he drinks.

Underrated - Seth Gilliam

There are a lot of tremendous acting performances on The Walking Dead. But when Josh McDermitt, who plays Dr. Eugene Porter, was asked who does he think is the most underrated actor on the show was, he was very open in his praise for Seth Gilliam.

“A bit about Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel). I believe Seth is the most underrated actor on our show. This guy has been quietly killing it for several seasons. His character’s journey is incredible, and Seth’s performance deserves a mountain of accolades."

McDermitt also credits Gilliam's amazing accolades as being a reason why he felt everyone's acting improved. This season in particular has focused a lot on Father Gabriel. He is constantly being portrayed as someone who is working very hard to hold onto his faith, and though it is hard, he refuses to give up. It makes him both interesting and naive all at once, but you cannot help but love him.

All That - Chris Brown

Chris Brown was once quoted as saying,

"Whether it be personal or musical, I just think I'm a walking art piece, just a ball of creativity."

We can't be the only person out there who thinks Chris Brown is a ball of something all right, but instead of creativity, it may best be described as something you'd find in the washroom. You can make the argument that the world should have moved on from the significant abuse that he inflicted on Rihanna, but perhaps in today's climate, we should revisit that and wonder why on earth people are continuing to support him.

He is barely doing anything musical, and when he does it is often overlooked because of the pain he inflicted on Rihanna. She is a major powerhouse in the music industry, and that is not something fans are likely to ever forget. She has the crown, and she won't be giving it to him anytime soon.

Underrated - Kal Penn

Kal Penn is the man and is never afraid to show off an incredible amount of versatility as an actor. People love him, and he is perfect for when they want to sit back with a bag of munchies in the classic Harold & Kumar series. Does there need to be three of them? Probably not, but heck, one of them is Christmas theme and involved a claymation scene. It is one of those things you didn't know you needed until it came out.

Penn's rocked the more serious side of acting as well with roles like Dr. Lawrence Kutner in House. He's currently rocking the house on the television series Designated Survivor. Showing intelligence outside of just on what scripts to pick, Penn also served under Obama as an Associate Director in the field of Public Engagement.

All That - Kanye West

Kanye West has spent a large portion of his time online praising himself and the various accolades he's achieved. This includes voicing his opinion on the song "New Slaves" which he declared,

"I open the debate… The 2nd verse of New Slaves is the best rap verse of all time….meaning … OF ALL TIME IN THE HISTORY OF RAP MUSIC, PERIOD"

Though to be fair, he does know he isn't humble once saying, "I think Twitter was designed specifically with me in mid just my humble opinion hahhhahaaaahaaa humble hahahahhahaahaaaa."

Honestly, we all know this guy is full of himself. His ego probably lives in an entire other house. It's hard to believe he is respected by his fans, as he shows no interest in them, or anyone around him. His wife is his arm candy and nothing more. He steals the show, but not in any classy manner, and demands attention at all times like a child. Do Better Kanye. Seriously, talking about yourself all the time doesn't actually make you look cool.

Underrated - Ansel Elgort

If you don't think Ansel Elgort is awesome, that's okay, it just means you haven't seen Baby Driver yet. Because it'd be hard to imagine people coming away with a significant amount of increased respect for Elgort after that performance.

Elgort's acting career also includes a tremendous performance in the film The Fault in Our Stars which along with scoring 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, to this day, is still talked about. It is the more modern version of the classic A Walk To Remember. It is sad and happy and makes you both laugh and cry all at once, and that, along with Baby Driver is more than enough to keep him at the top of his game. Perhaps part of why Elgort has stayed off people's radar is the fact that he's still with his high school sweetheart and therefore can't be part of the rampant tabloid speculation that exists around celebrity relationships.

All That - Courtney Stodden

Courtney Stodden became famous for being 16 years old and getting married to the 50-year-old Doug Hutchinson. They appeared together on the reality television show Couples Therapy, but Stodden tried to break out on her own when she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother UK and lasted 21 days.

The two have had an on-again, off-again relationship including once announcing their divorce after 2.5 years only to then change their mind. They finally seemingly separated for good in January 2017. Stodden later hooked up with millionaire Chris Sheng (who in this case was 15 years older) and eventually moved in with him, only to move out within a month leading her to say,

'Currently moving out of the home I just moved into. The excitement in my life never ends. Where r the cameras"

Chasing fame much? Stodden has also put together a modeling career, as well a paid website where for $20 a month, you can see photos and videos of Stodden wearing even less clothing.

Underrated - Mark Strong

Mark Strong actively tries to avoid the public spotlight to the very best of his ability. In an interview with TheGuardian he stated,

"Over the years I’ve been doing it I’ve seen people I know very well become extremely famous and there is nothing about it that I would recommend. . I can’t imagine anything worse than being in a position that you’re not allowed to live your life privately."

But you can't hide talent like Strong! He was outstanding in both Kingsman films and has several critically acclaimed films under his belt including The Guard and Zero Dark Thirty which scored 95% and 93% with critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

We'll see if he can manage to keep his preferred low-profile after he surely steals the show as the supervillain Doctor Thaddeus Sivana in the upcoming Shazam! film.

All That - Bella Thorne

Bella Thorne got her break on the Disney series Shake It Up which ran for 75 episodes. Also appearing in the series was the future star, Zendaya. But now the headlines that Thorne are making aren't for her acting. Instead, they're often for her embracing her "wilder" side on camera for her SnapChat followers.

Mind you, Thorne is still under the legal drinking age in America. Thorne is appearing in the series Famous In Love which debuted in 2017 to so-so reviews. Throne will be also looking to pull off her a more serious side of her when she plays a character who has a medical condition that prevents her from being in the sunlight for the movie Midnight Sun that releases in March 2018.

Underrated - Donald Glover

Donald Glover might be the most talented celebrity in Hollywood. He's a tremendous actor, as shown on the sitcom Community. He's got the chance to hit it big in the movies with an upcoming role in Solo: A Star Wars Story and as Simba in The Lion King.

But Glover may feel a bit shafted this year after losing out on several Grammys to Bruno Mars. Glover also missed out on the two Grammy Awards that was nominated back for in 2015. That being said, we hope he isn't done owning it in either industry anytime soon. Though he has stated he's done with the Childish Gambino stagename at the very least. Regardless, wherever you see Glover, expect to leave feeling impressed with his efforts.

He is also the future Spider-Man that people want (although really, aren't we done remaking that hero?). But still, it is worth noting that Marvel fans are more than ready for him to be the black Spider-Man they deserve.

All That - Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has had several incidents over the years that haven't exactly painted him as the most humble and in-tune with the world individual. He may have started out as such, playing on the street with wide and sparkling eyes, but he has turned into some kind of monster with fame. But one of his most insensitive moments came back in 2013 when he visited the Anne Frank House.

Before he left, he wrote in the guestbook,

"Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber."

Which definitely requires a certain level of arrogance to think that was even kind of a smart idea. But Bieber isn't exactly the smoothest character in the world! Still, you have to kind of groan and roll your eyes at the sheer stupidity of such a thing. How do you even manage to mess that one up?
