Finding true friends as a celebrity may be harder than you would think. With crazy working hours and lots of traveling, it takes a very special friend to understand that. What better friend to have than a co-star who not only shares your busy schedule but has been a part of it!

We’ve all seen these celebrity best friends on-screen together at some point, but it’s the off-screen moments that really define their friendship. Some of these friendships date back to 10 years ago and more! Here are 10 co-stars who hit it off on set and haven’t looked back.

B.J. Novak and Mindy Kaling

These two met on the set of The Office U.S back in 2005. They dated both on and off-screen. We all remember their unhealthy but hilarious relationship on the show, but many didn’t know that they actually dated in real life. Their relationship ended quite a few years ago and the two are now strictly best friends.

Mindy explains in a CBS interview that the two have known each other for 16 years. They are such good friends that Mindy made B.J. the godfather of her daughter.

Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox

One of the most beloved shows in the world is Friends. The show premiered in 1994 and is still being talked about to this day. It’s left an impact on multiple generations who watched the series. Rachel Green and Monica Geller, played by Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox, were high school best friends in the show.

The two met on set and have been friends ever since. The two shared many special moments together including Cox being Aniston’s maid of honor at her wedding with Justin Theroux as well as Aniston being named godmother to Cox’s daughter. 2019 marked 25 years of friendship for the girls.

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale’s first roles couldn’t be more different. The two played enemies on the hit Disney Channel original movie, High School Musical, but when the cameras were off, the girls were best friends. Since the movie’s debut in 2006, their friendship has continued to strengthen. Hudgens was a bridesmaid at Tisdale’s wedding to Christopher French in 2014.

The two have also posted covers together, an ode to how they became friends. Vanessa took to Instagram earlier this year to post a heartwarming photo of the girls for Ashley’s birthday along with a message about their friendship.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

These two have been friends for as long as we can remember. They have been on screen together for two decades. The two starred in Saturday Night Live and quickly became fan favorites. Their chemistry and humor brought them so many other opportunities together such as Mean Girls and Sisters.

Their opportunities grew as years went on and the two real-life best friends hosted the 2008 Emmy’s as well as 2013, 70th Golden Globes which went so well that they returned for the 71st and 72nd Golden Globes as co-hosts. These two as the most loved duo in entertainment history.

Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg

This unlikely pair were friends from the first take on The Martha Stewart Show in 2008. Snoop Dogg was featured on an episode where Martha demonstrates a recipe for Mashed potatoes. The two hit it off right away and in 2009, the rapper came back for a hilarious episode on how to make brownies. Snoop Dogg slyly added in comments about adding a “special ingredient” to them, to which Martha played along.

Later in 2016, the pair got a weekly cooking segment called Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party that ended up being nominated for an Emmy.

Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph

These two comedy actresses starred in one of the funniest movies of the decade, Bridesmaids. Back in the day, Wiig and Rudolph were a dynamic duo on Saturday Night Live and had many skits together over the years they worked on the show. Their most iconic characters were Shonda and Vonda in “Super Showcase Spokesmodels”.

Life after SNL for these two ladies consisted of even more collaboration, which they were totally cool with considering they’re real-life best buds. These two are hilarious together and their chemistry is undeniable.

Julia Roberts and George Clooney

Julia Roberts and George Clooney have been friends since their 2001 movie Ocean’s Eleven. The two have had a playful friendship all these years consisting of harmless pranks. Julia Roberts tells Allure that when she got pregnant, the friendship with Clooney changed and he became quite caring about her health.

They’ve starred in other movies together over the years and continue to allow their friendship to flourish. Roberts and Clooney have good relationships with each other’s families and their friendship is still as strong as it was back in 2001.

James Franco and Seth Rogen

James Franco and Seth Rogen go way back, all the way to 1999 on the set of Freaks and Geeks. The two co-starred on this 90s television show and instantly hit it off. In 2008, they took their friendship to yet another set and created Pineapple Express which had huge success.

Over the years the two have had cameos in each other's films. Franco and Rogen have a long history together in Hollywood both on and off-screen. 2019 marks 20 years of friendship for these two best buds.

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon

This bromance began during their SNL skit in 2003 called The Barry Gibb Talk Show. The two became fast friends and have been close ever since. After SNL Jimmy Fallon went on to have his own talk show. Over the years, Justin has been on his show many times, playing games to show the audience how close they are.

In a hilarious game on Jimmy Fallon’s show with Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, she had to go head to head with Fallon to guess Timberlake’s “safe word”. They both guessed right with the word pineapple which had the audience as well as Timberlake in a fit of laughter.

Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams

The Game Of Thrones stars have developed a tight-knit friendship over their eight-year gig on the show. The two are very public about their strong friendship and are constantly being featured on each other’s Instagram pages. In an interview with W magazine, Turner opens up about Williams and says that they have the purest form of true friendship.

Turner claims that Maisie had been her rock through the whole filming of the series because they were both going through the same stressors at the time. Looks like Joe Jonas has some competition!
