James Bond fans have no idea what will happen to Daniel Craig's character in No Time to Die, which is expected to be his final portrayal of 007.
There are plenty of rumors that Craig's character will be replaced by a female for the next Bond film, but this hasn't been confirmed. On top of that, some are wondering if Craig's Bond will be killed off in No Time to Die.
After all, it was reported that director Cary Joji Fukunaga shot three different endings for the film. That might mean that even Craig has no idea if his character will end up surviving or not.
Well, there's a major spoiler for No Time to Die, but it doesn't exactly provide any hints in regards to Craig's Bond.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the No Time to Die script includes Bond marrying Dr. Madeleine Swann, portrayed by Léa Seydoux, who will reprise her role from Spectre.
There's reportedly a scene in which 007 says "Good morning, Mrs. Bond." However, Seydoux's character responds with "Don't you mean Ms. Swann?". This suggests she'll be retaining her surname.
And as many Bond fans know, 007 only got married on On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969). The film saw him tie the knot with Tracy di Vicenzo (played by Diana Rigg) but she's killed off at the very end of the film, which leaves Bond heartbroken and devastated. Bond's decision not to marry was referenced in Licence to Kill (1989) by Felix Leiter, 007's loyal CIA friend.
Over a half century later, and James Bond fans will finally see the British spy tie the knot once again. It's been a long time coming.
