Big problems then erupt between the establishments, although Mirren's character eventually ends up taking him under her wing.

The Nutcracker And The Four Realms (Box Office: $54,858,851)

The Nutcracker And The Four Realms just beat out the previous entry and makes it to ninth in Helen Mirren's highest-grossing films of all time, earning $54,858,851 at the box office in 2018. It isn't a surprise that the movie did as well as it did because The Nutcracker is a familiar story, although this movie provided a new twist, with Young Clara seeking a magical, one-of-a-kind key to unlock a box that contained a priceless gift.

The story quickly becomes strange as they go into a parallel world, meeting a soldier and a group of mice, with the group having to enter another realm in order to get the key and bring peace and harmony back to the lands.

The Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga'Hoole (Box Office: $55,675,313)

While the title of the movie, The Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga'Hoole, is quite the mouthful, the film still did very well at the box office, earning $55,675,313, which makes it one of Helen Mirren's most successful roles.

The movie is focused on owl's, as a father owl's tale captures the imagination of his son, Soren, who ends up making a daring escape with the help of younger owls as he aims to seek out the Guardians to bring them back to defend their kind. Despite the movie being met with mixed responses, the animation work was superb and the voice acting was highly praised amongst many critics.

The Queen (Box Office: $56,441,711)

Helen Mirren won her Academy Award for Best Actress due to her incredible performance in The Queen, where she portrays Queen Elizabeth II. The movie made $56,441,711 at the box office and was highly praised by critics and audiences.

The plot focused on the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, which was an event that was treated as a private affair and not an official royal death. This caused great controversy, with Diana being one of the most popular and beloved public figures of all time in Britain.

Helen Mirren portrays the character, Victoria Winslow, in the 2010 action movie, Red, which did very well at the box office, earning $90,380,162, with this being one of Mirren's most memorable roles in recent years.

Mirren teams up with Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, and Morgan Freeman, in what is truly a star-studded cast, as Willis' character brings back his old team after surviving an attack from a group of hitmen. The team quickly learns that there is a conspiracy against them that threatens all their lives, as they are forced to break into the CIA HQ in order to try to save their lives, bringing a different take to a classic spy film.

The Prince Of Egypt (Box Office: $101,413,188)

Released back in 1998, The Prince Of Egpyt was a major success on all fronts, making $101,413,188 at the box office. This film still remains one of the greatest animations of all time and doesn't quite get the credit it deserves. Due to the fact it isn't a Disney or Pixar movie, The Prince Of Egypt often gets overlooked when it comes to discussing animated classics, but if you have never seen this movie, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Within the film, Helen Mirren provides the voice for The Queen, which is something she is well suited to, and it's not a surprise that she does a fantastic job.

Hobbs & Shaw (Box Office: $173,560,520)

Anytime the Fast & Furious franchise creates a new movie, you know it's going to be a box office sensation, and even though Hobbs & Shaw is technically a spin-off, it still exists in that world. Movies starring Dwayne Johnson in the lead role are also guaranteed to make big money and therefore it isn't a surprise to see this rank so highly, even though it may be surprising to some to see Helen Mirren's name attached.

However, this film actually saw her reprise the role of Magdalene "Queenie" Shaw, with Mirren already being well established in this universe due to a previous film.

National Treasure: Book Of Secrets (Box Office: $219,964,115)

Next up on the list is the incredible movie, National Treasure: Book Of Secrets, which made a remarkable $219,964,115 at the box office, despite the fact it was released back in 2007. The movie, which also stars Nicholas Cage in the lead role, was an incredibly popular film that has remained a major hit amongst fans, with the film still holding up incredibly well today, proving to be one of Helen Mirren's greatest ever roles.

The plot of the adventure film sees the group attempt to find clues in order to prove the honor of Mitch Wilkinson's claims that their ancestor was a conspirator in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, leading to a fantastic journey.

This was actually Helen Mirren's first venture into the world of Fast & Furious, with her appearance in The Fate Of The Furious being something that took many people by a surprise, as this was a totally new world for her. Vin Diesel praised the legendary actress for her performance, stating it was a career highlight for him to work alongside her.

Monsters University (Box Office: $268,492,764)

That's right, the highest-grossing movie of Helen Mirren's career didn't even need her presence on-screen, instead just lending her instantly recognizable voice was all it took, with the power of Pixar doing the rest. Monsters University was the long-awaited follow up to the incredibly popular Monsters Inc. movie, with this actually being a prequel, taking audiences back to when Mike and Sully first met at school.

With the film, which made an amazing $268,492,764 at the box office, Mirren voiced a new character in the monster's world, Dean Hardscrabble, who was the headmistress of the school.
