Tim Horton owner and billionaire Ron Joyce is selling his Destination Fox Harb'r Too yacht for $19.95 million via Fort Lauderdale-based yacht brokers Northrop and Johnson.
Docked at his golf course resort at Fox Harb'r in Nova Scotia, the ride is a 49-meter luxury super yacht he bought for $30 million in 2008. It boasts of 2,000 horsepower, a cruising speed of 17 knots (about 19.5 mph or 31.5 km/h) and a range of about 2,500 nautical miles. It also comes with 10 full time crews and a resident chef. It was built by Trinity Yachts in Gulfport, Miss. and is dubbed “the poshest craft to ever sail into Hamilton Harbour.”
The 82-year-old Canadian coffee and doughnuts billionaire, who is worth $1.2 billion, said he is selling the yacht because he “got tired of it.” He also possessed yachts in the past but decided to sell them, too.
The yacht has been up for sale for two years already, with the first price at $29.5 million, then lowered to $24.9 million and was cut until it reached $19.95 million. It is also for rent for $230, 000 per week for charter vacations.
