Zaha Hadid, a London architect, has come up with designs for a new range of superyachts for a German shipbuilding company Blohm and Voss. She created the original concept for a yacht that is 128 meters long and this led to the design of five other vessels by the shipbuilders.
The design of the upper structure of the yacht is made up of sinuous shapes which connect the different decks. The new design is said to combine the highest levels of safety and comfort while on water. The first of the new set of prototypes features a sharp solid prow with a more open design towards the back. This yacht explores the unique designs of a master prototype while still being within the technical requirements of a fully engineered yacht design.
In the past, Hadid designed a limited edition speedboat for Kenny Schechter who is an American art dealer. She is also the very first winner of the Pritzker Architecture prize. Her company, Zaha Hadid limited has liabilities worth $26 million a net worth of $3 million and assets worth $27.9 million
