Leah Messer is getting ready to walk down the aisle for a third time after getting engaged to her boyfriend Jaylen Mobley. The Teen Mom 2 announced her engagement this week– and flaunted her massive diamond ring.

Sharing exclusive photos from the proposal with PEOPLE Magazine, Leah explained Jaylen popped the question during a trip to Costa Rica. The proposal happened during a walk on the beach after having dinner made by a private chef.

Leah said she knew something was going on ahead of time but was pleasantly surprised with how the proposal panned out. Meanwhile, Jaylen told the publication he was “nervous” ahead of the popping the question, though he’d been thinking about doing it for “2 to 3 months.”

There’s also a special reason Jaylen chose Costa Rica for the proposal. It’s a sentimental location for the couple, who visited shortly after they started dating.

While this will be the first marriage for Jaylen, it’ll be the third for Leah. She was previously married to Corey Simms from 2010 to 2011. The then-couple’s teenage pregnancy with their twin daughters, Ali and Aleah, 12, was documented on 16 and Pregnant before being signed onto its MTV spin-off Teen Mom 2.

Leah was later married to Jeremy Calvert from 2012 to 2015, also in a televised ceremony. The exes share one daughter, Adalyn, 9. It's unclear if Leah plans to televise her upcoming nuptials or not.

Leah revealed her daughters are unaware of her engagement to Jaylen, explaining they want to share the news in-person and altogether.

“The girls have been asking if I plan to propose, [and] I think the best way to tell the girls is for us to do it together. I have a surprise for them as well,” Jaylen told PEOPLE.

Leah’s daughters will likely be interested in her engagement ring, which is a 4.7 carat diamond custom-designed by New York Diamond Jewelry’s Mike Netta.

It’s unclear how much the ring cost, but 4 carat diamonds can range between “$30,000 to $250,000, depending on the diamond’s cut, quality, clarity, and color,” The Diamond Pro explains.

However, Jaylan may not have paid full price (or at all) for the engagement ring. According to The Ashley, the ring was part of a collaboration coordinated by a PR agency, as evidenced by a Instagram post made by LaToya S. Evans, the owner of the LEPR Agency.

“Thank you @missrice_ and @mike_netta for working with @thelepragency to help secure this incredible ring for the happy couple,” LaToya wrote on her IG story alongside a close-up of the diamond on Leah’s finger.

With Leah admitting she’s open to a big celebration, we can only imagine how much the wedding will cost.
