During the ‘90s, Pamela Anderson was one of the most in-demand actresses. She rose to international fame thanks to her role in Baywatch, and quickly became a sex symbol. Many men were fawning over her, including Sylvester Stallone.
In fact, Pamela recently claimed that the Rocky star tried to win her over with fancy cars and condos. Her Netflix documentary Pamela: A Love Story debuts on the streaming platform on January 31, and the actress has been doing a lot of promotional work in advance.
During an interview with Page Six, Pamela discussed the attention she received in the ‘90s for her bombshell status and wasn’t afraid to give out names.
“He offered me a condo and a Porsche to be his ‘No. 1 girl,’” Pamela told the publication. “He goes, ‘That’s the best offer you’re gonna get, honey. You’re in Hollywood now.’”
Pamela added that she turned down the offer. The actress has never been romantically linked to Sylvester during the years.
When questioned if the age gap was the problem – Sylvester is 20 years older than Pamela – the actress denied that was the issue. Rather, she wanted to have genuine romantic feelings. “I wanted to be in love,” she explained. “I didn’t want anything less than that.”
The actress went on to have a whirlwind relationship with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. The pair were married from 1995 to 1998, and welcomed two sons during their union.
Sylvester also settled down in the ‘90s. He married Jennifer Flavin in 1997 after dating on-and-off for years.
It appeared Sylvester and Jennifer’s long-term marriage was over after she filed for divorce in August 2022. It was speculated that the actor’s spending may have been to blame, as Jennifer requested an uneven division of their assets when she made her filing.
Court documents alleged that Sylvester “has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate."
It continued, "The Husband should be enjoined from, selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dissipating any assets during the pendency of these proceedings."
It was presumed the couple would have a messy divorce since there was no prenup in place. Ultimately, however, the couple ended up reconciling in September, and called off the divorce.
Sylvester and Jennifer have three daughters together. The couple briefly broke up in 1994 after Sylvester revealed he was expecting a child with Janice Dickinson. Though the two got engaged, they broke up after it was revealed Sylvester wasn’t the father of Janice’s child.
The actor subsequently rekindled his relationship with Jennifer Flavin, only to marry a few years later.
