Matt Damon Buys $15 Million Home in LA

Despite having the biggest fear of losing money in the future, Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso splashed out $15 million for a Los Angeles home.

The 13,000 square foot, three-story house is located in the upmarket seaside town of Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles, the same street as that of fellow actor and good pal’s house, Ben Affleck.

The home is inspired by California modernism and traditional Spanish Colonial architecture with a lush landscaping, mahogany flooring, 11-metre vaulted ceilings, sliding glass walls, a floating staircase, a spa pavilion, gym, large patio, 5-car garage, an open floor plan, swimming pool and koi pond. It also has seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, living room, dining room, family room, media room and kitchen.

Damon and Luciana met in 2003 and tied the knot two years after. Damon also accepted the role as a stepfather to Barroso’s daughter, Alexia from her previous marriage.

Moreover, the family also owns an East Village apartment in New York and a waterfront mansion in Miami Beach, Florida.
