Cadillac Elmiraj Concept slinks into Lenos $50 Million Garage

The world’s famed car collector appears interested in another ride to add to his $50 million vintage car collection.

The 63-year-old stand-up comedian Jay Leno, was seen scrutinizing the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept that debuted during the Monterey car week. He was also very focused as he spoke to General Motors vice president of global design Ed Welburn.

Welburn shared some anecdotes regarding the model and the changes his designers made in the two-door, four-seater car. He also added that Elmiraj could spawn a four-door variant and be a solid production car. He added that the ride has "chassis and structural elements of an ongoing Cadillac vehicle development project slated for future production."

Welburn is also the person responsible for the next C7 generation 2014 Chevrolet Corvette.

The car was influenced by the 1967 Eldorado and exudes of "mid-century modern" feel with all its luxurious and comfy features such as 205-inch size, 4.5-liter twin turbocharged V8 power that can deliver an estimated 500 hp and 22-inch aluminum wheels.
