American Muscle Car 2014 Equus Bass770 sells for $250 000

Vintage styling car coupled with a modern approach of technology, that is the 2014 Equus Bass770.

Michigan startup Equus Automotive unveiled its retro version of the American muscle car with the release of its 2014 Equus Bass770. It is designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. which serves as a contemporary version of the American muscle cars from the 60's and 70's, equipped with modern mechanics.

The ride features a 4-seat interior, aluminum racing chassis, with the body made of aluminum, lined with carbon fiber inners, fade-free carbon ceramic brakes, a magnetic suspension system with adjustable shock absorbers and a double clutch gearbox. Inside the car is a USB connectivity, sat nav and ISO fix.

It is also being run by a 6.2L supercharged LS9 V8 engine with 640 HP from the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. The LS9 V8 engine allows the car to accelerate at 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds.

Equus manager Mike Oualid said their company is new and built by a group of car buffs who are very enthusiastic with classic pony cars. Oualid also said the car takes about four months to be built. They already received orders from countries such as the U.S.A., Middle East, Germany and India.

The car sells at a starting price $250, 000.
