King Charles III who inherited massive wealth from the Queen is known for his excellent taste in fashion, even his younger years. According to observers, the former Prince of Wales was considered a watch lover as the King was fond of collecting unique kinds. They described his taste for watches as refined and discreet, according to Watchonista. His love for watch's hot topic started when observers noticed a rare Toric chronograph by Parmigiani Fleurier during his IGTV broadcast.

The former Prince of Wales used social media to reassure the entire nation about his health during the pandemic. He was one of the public figures affected by Covid-19, and luckily the disease didn't take that long with the royal Prince. During his confinement, it gave the observers the ideal opportunity to take a deep search into his watch collection.

Hamilton RAF Pilot’s Chronograph 924-3306 ( $3,495)

Throughout the history of the former Prince, his quite rebellious streak developed at a young age. Charles followed the footsteps of his father and grandfather in serving the English military, serving both the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy. The former Prince trained as a pilot. He stopped flying after a crash landing during his training in the Hebrides in the mid-1900s.

In association with the Royal Air Force, he received a Hamilton RAF Pilot's Chronograph 924-3306 while training as a pilot at RAF Cranwell. The watch has a 41mm asymmetric steel chronograph. The watch belongs to the four model series produced by watch company Hamilton, CWC, Precista, and Newmark in honor and a special edition for the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso ($ 5,980)

A few years back, pictures of the former Prince were spreading on the internet that he was wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. Jaeger-LeCoultre which produced expensive watches released the Reverso which had a history before it landed in the hands of the newly renowned King of England. A Swiss manufacturer presented the 23mm quartz 18k yellow gold watch to King Edward III in 1937.

The intended recipient never wore it, and it stayed in a museum. The watch has a dedication to the King engraved on the back. The museum delivered it back to Buckingham Palace until the King's abdication.

Hublot Classic Fusion ($ 9,100)

The Prince's Trust logo granted one of only two watches of King Charles III. The Prince's Trust supports charitable for young people, including initiatives to fight poverty, improve mental health and mental health, and end malnutrition since 1976. It was, in fact, the Prince's favorite since 2015; an automatic Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Chronograph with 18-carat gold. Some say he bought the watch from a member in his inner circle in London in the brand's boutique. It wasn't a gift like the Breguet, but rumors say he didn't buy it from the shop in London. Instead, he went to the home of Parmigiani Fleurier in Switzerland, where he picked up the watch.

Patek Philippe Calatrava Disco Volante ($ 26,690)

Another important watch in the King's collection of timepieces was the Patek Philippe Calatrava which he has been wearing since the 1970s. Its so-called 2551 Disco Volante was not the right name for the piece. Instead, it's a 1970s Calatrava Date Automatic Ref. 3445, with central hours and minutes and small seconds at 6 o'clock. The watch is yellow gold, 35mm in diameter, and has a recessed crown. Even though it runs through the ages, King Charles' Patek Philippe Calatrava didn't get less wrist-time and has still used it in several events.

Patek Philippe Ref 3618 ($ 11,145)

The Patek Philippe Ref. 3618 was a gift of the former Prince Charles to the late Princess Diana who allegedly rebelled against the Queen. The princess was a woman who wasn't afraid to stand up for herself and had a style for wearing watches. Soon after they were engaged, observers spot her at Guards Polo Club in Windsor while wearing her gift from the Prince. She was probably the first woman to wear two watches simultaneously. A few may look at it as a style or in fashion.

Santos de Cartier ($ 22,500)

King Charles may have a lot of collections of watches that vary in brands. But all in all, the royals love Cartiers, even the Duke and Duchess of Sussex loves it, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. It sums up that the royals prefer a Cartier on their wrist, don't mind a Patek, Jaeger-LeCoultre, or Breguet, and it's just for occasions or special events.

In the 1980s, former Prince Charles owned a Santos de Cartier watch in a gold and steel version. He liked to switch it with his gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso.
