After joining the band Hot Boys in 1997, Lil Wayne gained considerable success and saw his songs reaching the Billboard charts. At just 17 years, he decided to pursue a solo career and released his debut album in 1999. With the release of Tha Carter in 2004, Lil Wayne slowly achieved mainstream success and simultaneously launched his record label Young Money Entertainment. He signed up little-known artists like Drake and Nicki Minaj, who have become some of the biggest names in the music industry. In 2020, he made a fortune after selling the Young Money catalog to Universal Music for $100 million. Over the years, his net worth has reached the $170 million mark.

After a struggling career, Lil Wayne achieved astronomical success, and the rapper did not hesitate to make expensive purchases, from real estate to cars. As jewelry has been an essential representation in rap culture, Lil Wayne also added notable chains and rings to his collection. Let’s take a look at the multi-million jewelry collection of Lil Wayne.

Young Money Necklace

Young Money has been a phrase associated with rapper Lil Wayne since he took over as the CEO of his record label in 2007. Often heard in various verses of songs, Lil Wayne has been the moniker behind the words. According to Rap-Up, the rapper commissioned Eliantte to create an iced-out necklace with the initials YM as a large pendant. While the price of the necklace was not revealed, it reportedly set him back by a few hundred thousand dollars.

Cita Double-Sided Ring

Days after the Lil Weezyana Fest in 2019, Lil Wayne purchased several custom diamond chains for his team from Eliantte and bought a special ring for himself. The double-sided jewel was a three-sided ring that could be flipped from both sides. During an Instagram video, he showed off the ring and focused on the words CITA iced out on the top. Cita is Lil Wayne’s mother's nickname.

Self-Portrait Gold Pendant

In 2018, Lil Wayne helped a struggling art student in London when he emailed her to make him an 18-carat gold pendant. The student Joy BC hand-carved the pendant with Lil Wayne’s self-portrait on it and also added two teardrop-shaped diamonds that are used to represent the two deaths of his family members, as noted by BBC. The student wanted to raise $12,000 for the course but got a better deal with the commission, which was delivered around his 35th birthday.

Diamond Lighter

Lighter flicking is another sound that has become synonymous with Lil Wayne before he begins rapping a verse. He shared a video where the rapper received a gift from his fans, who presented him with a diamond lighter designed by Eliantte. It was embedded with crystal diamonds from each direction and had a cross carved in the middle of its body.

Chopard Watch

For his impact in the music industry over 13 years, Lil Wayne was gifted an iced-out diamond watch in 2009 to celebrate his 27th birthday. The Chopard watch was made-to-order for the rapper as a birthday gift from Brian 'Birdman' Williams, a close friend and business partner for their record label. Made with white diamonds, the timepiece cost him upwards of $1 million.

Diamond Teeth

Lil Wayne went all out when adding a few jewels to his teeth. The rapper not only replaced one of his teeth but made his smile extra shiny by adding diamond braces to each tooth. As mentioned by Complex, he put up the grille around 2009, costing him $150,000 to complete the entire procedure.

Cuban Chains

Lil Wayne is never seen wearing a singular Cuban chain around his neck as he ensures to adorn multiple necklaces simultaneously. One of his favorites is a chunky iced-out white diamond chain that hangs until his waist. The rapper also has a chain with an ‘OG’ pendant at the bottom.

Chunky Rings

Along with the CITA double-sided ring, each ring in the rapper's collection reportedly costs upwards of $135,000. With impressive carat weights, Lil Wayne has a set of clustered band rings in white gold and yellow gold. The pair of rings also come with a round statement rock in the middle that catches the eye.

Diamond-Encrusted Headphones

Sitting courtside at an NBA All-Star game, Lil Wayne brought his signature fashion style as a spectator in 2012. Wearing a cap and his signature glasses, what drew attention were his stunning headphones. He had a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre around his neck, and the headphones were encrusted with diamonds worth $1 million, as stated by MTV. Wayne is not the only rapper to own the headphones, as rapper SkyBlu also wore them during the Super Bowl that year.

Lil Wayne is also known to have a diamond tennis bracelet in his collection that he possibly wears as a piece of everyday jewelry. Over the years, the rapper has slowly added new jewelry to celebrate special events and his impact on the music industry. He continues collaborating with Eliantte to add more custom jewelry to his collection.
